The owner was hospitable, but I paid $10 for a cortado. Apparently the single shot version of it is $8 and there was an extra $2 for the 2nd shot. I communicated this on square directly with the owner but I didn’t get a clear answer why the single shot cortado which is much less milk than the 16 oz latte was $8. It is by far the most expensive cortado I ever paid for - even compared to other metros such as: DC, NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Paris, Berlin, or Amsterdam. It was good, but not $10 good and I would never visit there again.

Heavily overpriced for a very mediocre coffee. $9 for a medium coffee that tasted of mostly milk. Ordered a mocha latte and the “mocha” was actually hersheys chocolate syrup … for $9. Save your money and go elsewhere.

It may be small, but it offers almost every coffee concoction that you could think of. The staff were genuinely nice, helpful, and their recommendations were spot on. If you like coffee, you'll love it here. There are multiple Adirondack chairs overlooking the Wharf for you to sit and enjoy you coffee, ad well as a open air covered patio with tables and chairs overlooking the water.

Very over-priced and coffee is mediocre. Pastries are OK but not worth the cost. 5 pastries and 2 large lattes $65.00. You can get a good breakfast for 4 with free refill coffee for same price or less.

Great local coffee shop with delicious baked goods and coffee! Sweetest owner!! Highly recommend over other commercial chains.

I would recommend this place. But my recommendation is based on the location and the friendly staff. And by friendly staff, I mean the one hard working lady behind the counter. There was a long line and she was alone. She was never stressed or rushed. She was just good at her job. And while she was juggling 10 orders she was talking to us. Just plain cool. The location is just by the port near some amazing boats. It was very relaxing having our coffee here. The coffee was just average or this place would have received a 5.

Great service and delicious coffee and food! The owner was very sweet. We stopped here a couple different times on our trip and would definitely go back!

I read the reviews about pricing and figured everyone was just nuts. Unfortunately my 8 oz latte ended up being like $7+ and my tiny pastry was also $7+. So it was an extra $2 for a double versus single. Even though every other high end coffee shop typically provides a double automatically and I normally pay $5 for the same thing. It’s nice in there, the owner obviously has a passion and knowledge for what she does, but there’s an air of pretentiousness that her way is the only way. If you like a darker robust roast, you’ll enjoy the coffee. But probably not the price.

We spent 5 days in RI and this was by far the best coffee of the trip! I also had banana bread, which the cashier said was featured on Food Network. A must stop in Newport.

The location and owner conversation were both quite nice and really are what saved the place for me. I spent $9 on a 16oz latte (2 shots), which is something I’ve never done before and pray I never do again. it was honestly kind of heartbreaking. I’ve never had to pay extra for a shot of espresso if the latte is already at 16oz at any other coffee shop (Boston, NYC, Toronto, no where). The espresso also didn’t have much flavor to separate it from the milk so it was all kinda flavorless, making it quite disappointing for the price. I also noticed a large plain coffee was like 5.50 which is something I don’t think I’ve seen anywhere in my life before (normally it’s like 3.50 max?). Fun spot but can’t justify the price sadly.
