MUST TRY in Newport! I have never met a nicer store owner than this place. She took the time to tell me the history of the store, the featured banana bread, and their unique banana chocolate latte! If you come here, definitely go for the signature banana chocolate latte, unlike anything I’ve had before and absolutely delicious! Wish I lived closer, I would be here everyday!

Great little place tucked away. Managed to get a coffee without waiting 20-30 minutes like everywhere else on a Saturday morning. Yes prices are not cheap, but I also value my time. Seemed like they were pretty on par with other coffee shops around for the most part. You’re in Newport. Coffee was solid and the pastry was great. Loved the interior of the place and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the coffee. The best part was the owner who was so pleasant even while being busy. Highly recommend if you are willing to maybe pay a little more for good coffee without having to wait a long time.

A good place to grab a coffee or tea, pastry and fresh fruit. Friendly service

Ignore the prices at the shop. They charge you a dollar an ounce… my 8 ounce iced caramel was very subpar. I don’t believe she was truly on the food network…

Super friendly owner. Lots of options for treats and coffee, of course! My danish was delicious! The owner said she bakes everything which is always a plus for me. Great atmosphere. Wish I had time to sit and enjoy the place but glad I was able to stop in.

The reviews are right, it is over priced. But the owner is so nice, hospitable, and makes ALL the baked goods herself. She even had a shammy available to wipe down our chairs for us! I’d much rather spend an extra $3 and support her, rather than give the money to Starbucks. If you go during fall the pumpkin chai tea latte won’t disappoint!

We got two coffees and two cans of sparkling water and paid $32+. Completely ridiculous. The prices written on the wall menu are not what she deceptively rings up.
She overcharged for every single item.
Do not go here unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for a small and medium coffee/tea that isn’t worth it.

I hesitate to write a review for this coffee shop but after reading everyone else's reviews, I feel like I have to. My wife and I stopped in this past weekend with the anticipation of getting a really good cup of coffee. We were pleasantly surprised with the coffee shop's architecture, displays, cleanliness, etc. There were a few other patrons there beside us (maybe 4 others) to whom the Owner (at least I think it was the owner) was speaking to. We waited our turn and I ordered (1) Iced Latte and (1) Iced Spiced Chai Latte. Much to my surprise, the cup sizes were comical at best. The small looked like a "Dixie cup", the medium - maybe a small at any other coffee shop, and the large...well, you can imagine how small that was.
I didn't ask the price (it's coffee, right?) and ordered two medium cups. Much to my surprise, both drinks were ready almost immediately and served to us. I thought, "I didn't hear or see the espresso machine turn on." Turns out, the drinks were poured out of pre-made containers and milk was added to them with a lot of ice. Shockingly, the pricing came to $8+/ea. (before tax). Let me repeat, $8/ea for a pre-made, iced latte and iced chai latte? I get that it's Newport but REALLY? For those prices, the coffee better be exceptional and the portions, generous. Neither were true of this coffee shop. Not even Starbucks charges that amount for their coffee (which is 100% better by the way). Yes, next time we will take the extra walk to Starbucks if you're asking.
Steer clear of this shop unless your 100' yacht is parked in the slip next door, you enjoy overrated coffee, and LOUD conversation. I would've posted a photo of the coffees but my camera lens doesn't zoom in that close.

I read a lot of the reviews before I decided to post mine, I happen to agree with all the negative reviews, the coffee is way overpriced for coffee that is just average she is also way overpriced with her baked goods, I cannot imagine she gets a repeat clientele with the outrageous prices she charges. It truly is a tourist trap and I went there offseason.$6 for a cup of coffee? She is definitely taking advantage of people and the area where her store is located

I was charged $104.00 for 2 cappuccinos, 1 single espresso, 1 iced coffee, 2 waters, 2 banana breads and 2 croissants. Absolute rip off to the point now that I look back she charged me 2 to 3 times over again. DO NOT GO THERE!.
