The Cafe on Hawk Creek

The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. We sat at an inside table that still had a great view of the namesake creek. The fish and chips were fresh and delicious.

The pizza was one of the worst I have ever had. The crust was burnt but the pizza was flimsy so you had to eat it with a fork and knife. It was loaded with cheese which normally would be great but the cheese was greasy and had no flavor, not even salty as you would expect that amount of cheese to be.

I ordered the 16” Deluxe so I could have leftovers to share with my friend who I was with. I ate two pieces there and took the rest back to our vacation rental. My friend tried a piece later that evening and also thought it was horrible. He couldn’t even finish his slice and I ended up throwing the entire rest of the pizza out. I regret not telling the server how bad it was. I hate to waste food, not to mention the $31 that it cost.

Great experience at the Cafe! We haven't eaten out a whole lot since 2020 and this was special. Food was great, setting outside was spectacular and service was fantastic - we're used to snotty Portland servers who act like they always have something better to do. At one point there were 6 dogs peacefully coexisting on the deck which is nice to see. If your dog isn't calm around others, it's probably not a good call however. If you get the chance, go here.

This place was better than expected and super yummy! We got the shrimp melt and fish tacos for a late lunch and they were DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the shrimp melt! The portions aren’t big. Then we got two scoops of chocolate ice cream to finish off. They don’t start serving dinner until 4, so we missed out on the seafood mac and cheese that looked delicious. The servers were also very nice. It’s super close to the beach.

Side note: it would be great if the cafe had more than one bathroom. It was nearly always occupied and always had people waiting to use it.

Stopped in this sweet little place after visiting Proposal Rock and enjoyed delicious steamer clams, and fires. Try the IPA on tap to enhance the flavor of the clams! Attentive and cheerful staff! 10 out of 10 would do it again.

Delicious pan fried oyster sandwich on ciabatta bread. Highly recommend this place. Great pizza too.
