The Cafe on Hawk Creek

June 2022 update: We returned to Hawk Creek Cafe, today and enjoyed a delicious Fish & Chips dinner. The fish was outstanding - crispy on the outside moist cod on the inside. Fries were fresh cut. We also observed many pizzas delivered to neighboring tables and they all lookedn delicious - no black burned crusts. We will return for pizza on our next visit to Neskowin. Our waiter was attentive and helpful even with a full house. He was kept busy! Thank you to the new owners.

(The following was submitted in 2021). Arrived for our pizza as a pizza was being removed from the oven. As it was taken out of the oven the lady cooking it stated she had burned this one. Put it in a box & handed it to me! I opened the box and sure enough, it was burned. The waitress had just arrived and offered to bring it to my car once the pizza was remade. I then paid but no tip (planned on handing it to the waitress once she brought it to my car). She did bring it to my car and I explained to her about my observations - after staring at me for a moment she responded that they always have us inspect them before we leave with it (she did not have me inspect this new one!). No apology. No tip. I left without inspecting - certainly this one was not burned. It was! Was it the original or a new one? It didn't seem to look as burnt on top but the bottom was very burned - black spots all over. Normally I give a pass to the first bad experience but this became egregious with a second burned pizza and no apology.

Great place to eat and phenomenal customer service! Very welcoming and accommodating when their online ordering system went down. Thanks Warren and crew for going above and beyond!

I got the thai chicken pizza. More than enough for one person. I'm a pretty big guy and only managed to get through half on an empty stomach. It was good. A little wet. Good balance of flavors and they didn't skimp on the chicken.

The price feels a little high but I suppose it is in the middle of no where.

It was very busy so the service was a little slow but it was labor day weekend and coronavirus so I didn't factor that into my rating. Just a heads up to those who are in a hurry.

Waitress left our table without taking my order nor did she ask if there was anything else before she left. Was very short with us and generally unkind. The girl with blue hair (❤️ thank you) checked on our table more than our waitress. Our waitress had her blonde hair in a bun. We’re waitresses so we understand bad days but this was more than a bad day. We were kind and still left a tip due to our large order. Just a reminder to be kind.

I had the seafood Mac and cheese...omg...excellent!! Jennifer was our wait person. She was fabulous and very accommodating....one of my favorite eating places. Quaint and cozy inside but nice for outside eating in the nice weather. Outside eating is a plus because it’s dog friendly.

Walked in to ask the hostess if seating 3 of us outside would be okay and the hostess said that should be fine, so we sat down outside (not knowing or being informed that you need to be seated - so that could be my fault) After waiting for about 10 minutes we overheard the same person (hostess I’m assuming) say to a waitress “ I’m not sure what they are doing or what’s going on over there” so we sat patiently and waited approximately 10 more minutes before a waitress came outside and said to us “we don’t do self seating here but I’ll be with you when I can”. I’m not sure I’ve ever felt so uncomfortable or unwelcome somewhere. No thank you. We left. Even if there’s a misunderstanding- your customer service should still remain a priority.

Fresh & so yummy! Highly recommend the Truffle Cheese Bread! The salad, pizza & fish ‘n chips were all incredible!!

Little cute place in a little cute town. We absolutely loved everything about our dinner here. The service was wonderful. We got 3 large pizzas, all amazing, for 7 people so we had some take home too! Thai chicken pizza was especially good. Even the bathrooms were cute and very clean. 10 out of 5 stars! So cute.

Outdoor seating only due to the never ending covid issue but they made it totally work just bundle up. The food was really good as well as the portions. Will be back and happy to support a small business. Oh if you are a tea lover ask for some hot green tea the brand they use is absolutely delicious

The food was decent but unfortunately multiple dishes at our table had missing items and the staff were a little rude. I've heard good things about this restaurant, and I was looking forward to trying this restaurant, but I can't recommend it after our experience.
