The Cafe on Hawk Creek

Thank you Hawk Creek Cafe for hosting our Vanda Health team two nights in a row under the big red tent. Our team @vandahealth @canyonrimassistedliving @adaraoaks and @elitecare enjoyed our first night ordering directly off the menu. The truffle cheese bread was amazing!!!!
The burger was cooked perfectly and was a soft brioche bun. Night 2 was even better. We shared 7 pizzas, a house salad and 5 orders of truffle cheese bread. Everything was set up with salads arranged at each seat for our group of 18. The truffle bread was ready for a quick nibble before the pizzas came and drink orders happened pretty succinctly thereafter. Drinks and laughter were had by all--and, everyone enjoyed dipping the wonderful artisan woodfired pizza crust in honey. The new Executive Chef Max, came out to introduce himself to our group with his cheery smile and carefree spirit. He shared a bit about his life, future for the Cafe, and enjoyment in curating a new menu set to launch in February 2023.

On the second night we had the opportunity to meet the new Executive Chef Max! I am excited for the him and the community of Neskowin. His passion for this new journey was so evident. Lovely location. We love getting up early to visit this cozy place. Food is a hit and miss depending on what you order. We have had amazing food, but we have also had food so badly burned or undercooked we couldn’t eat it a time or two.

Pizza is always a great choice though! And we love all their breakfast items.

Make sure that after you finish you take a quick walk alongside the beach through the beach access to the west of the building, it adds so much more to the experience!

New staff ~ new chef ~ new direction in the last 2 months (February and March 2023) and as a local, I couldn't be happier. Maximilian and Crystal have made changes that make a huge difference - with more to come. Love their Clam Chowder and recent Patty Melt as a special was one of the best I ever had.

The fish and chips were ok . The clam chowder was not good . But high priced . The server really took his time. Kind of like he was hoping I would just go away .

I was here a couple weeks ago. Don't know if anything was good. After about 20 minutes the server came over and recited a list of everything they were out of that seemed to be longer than the actual menu. Previous owners of this restraunt poured their hearts and souls into it. I hope the current owners can get it together

The pancakes are Beer Battered, so they have a funky taste. My kids did not like them so don't order them for your kiddos. Other than that, everything else was great. I was very happy with my Banana Bread French Toast. It's very sweet and a large portion.

We dined under the red tent 2 nights in a row . The meals and drinks were fabulous. The service was personal and professional. We were a group of 17 and they did a wonderful job of catering to us. @canyonranch. @elitecare @adara we met Chef Max. He is a knowledgeable, creative Chef! Thank you! Patty Finnegan

My husband and I live in New York but are both from Oregon. In September, we rented a huge house in Neskowin and got married on the beach!

We kept the guest list very intimate, but still had people flying from all over the world and I wanted everyone to see the best the Pacific Northwest has to offer!Neskowin is a small little beach town, and some suggested we explore the neighboring town Pacific City for food and activities.

But when I walked into the Hawk Creek Café, I knew immediately it would be the PERFECT spot to kick off the wedding day!

The space was warm and inviting, as were all of the staff. The owner was walking up to tables and checking in with guests.
They seamlessly served our entire party with a huge breakfast, bloody Mary’s for everyone, and always with a smile and a kind word.

I cannot say enough how wonderful that morning was for us and our guests, and was the perfect start to the most perfect day of our lives!

Steamed clams were delicious! We also ordered the artichoke dip which was creamy with just the right amount of garlic. All very good.
