Black Rock Coffee Bar

This is my go-to drive thru coffee stand. Always a good experience with fast and friendly workers. You can use the drive up or walk up windows but there's no inside seating. Some cookies or muffins are usually available. A couple of small tables are available outside.

this one location in particular is my fav! they always make the best drinks and all the people are so nice...we go every day :)

I would give negative points if that was possible for the experience I had this morning. This rating has nothing to do with the taste of the coffee. I’m giving this location this rating because they are trying to rob me. I used a visa gift card to purchase 2 drinks this morning. Then the employee that processed the payment told me the payment did not go through on the gift card and asked me if I had a different way to pay. So I handed him a regular credit card I use. When I got home with the drinks I thought there was something wrong with the gift card and went online to check it out and to my disbelief it showed a pending transaction from Black Rock Coffee. So I drove back with a copy of the transaction and the employee that served me told me that means nothing and that when he swiped the card it was being denied. Then after I got home from our hike I decided to check to see if the payment went through and went online again and sure enough it showed a completed transaction from Black Rock Coffee.

So BEWARE to anyone that is told one payment is not going through and them asking for a different payment. They are trying to charge you twice.

One of my favorite coffee places. Coffee is always served perfectly. Staff is friendly and they definitely know how to keep the line moving. The vibe is upbeat and they usually have some music playing, but they keep it low enough to hear your order. Five cars in line is often the case, but the wait is no more than a few minutes, and worth it every time. Be sure to get the loyalty punch card. It will be full before you know it.

Black Rock was pretty busy about 10:30am today, considering it was Saturday. It wasn't too much if a wait tho, about 10 minutes. All in all, BR is a good place to get a good coffee.

I get flirted with every time I come here, but honestly, that's a plus. Good coffee, good looking, friendly women. What more could a guy ask for?

The coffee was always of good quality. Unfortunately I've had to end my business with Black Rock entirely because they allow their employees to have dogs lick their hands in the drive-thru while the employee holds a dog treat with a closed fist. Then after they allowed the dog to eat the treat from their hand, the employee goes on to pet the dog, with their hands all over the animal. Then the employee does not wash their hands but instead starts handling drinks, straws, and the company iPad. What's worse, is that I've witnessed this at more than one Black Rock location. I strongly prefer to have my expensive coffee with generous tip served to me without dog snot and saliva, but hey ... that's just me. I hate leaving bad reviews but this is disgusting and goes way over the line of acceptable and safe food handling practices, and likely deserves to be reported the appropriate food safety agency.

Well I just​ ordered a Blended Decaf Carmel Blondie and this what I got🤔 No carmel sauce or whip cream. Last week I ordered the same thing and it came out hot. I am a die hard fan of BR but this location will be off my list. One idea that could have been a factor is that their music at this location was very loud, which might be making it hard to hear what customers are ordering.
