Cold chicken salad. It was OK but I prefer my food in distinct piles, not smeared together in a row. Dill pickle slices on the side were way too salty. Won't have that again. Average.

We were sat immediately, but waited over 30 minutes for food. The restaurant itself is dirty, booths are all held together with tape, and bathrooms have mop buckets and cleaning supplies in the stalls. It’s small but is seemed like they only had one cook who could not expedite the food quickly enough. Server could not answer how much longer we had to wait for food. Every table around us was complaining about the wait as well. Food was hit or miss. I had a waffle and bacon which was good but literally one waffle and 2 strips of bacon. Kids meal was good but my husbands burger was beyond sad. Looked like a frozen patty with a few blue cheese crumbles.

Your typical diner with great service. It took a few minutes to get our order but after that things were pretty quick, mainly because most of the food is already made. The eggs were terrific and cooked perfectly, the potatoes are not hash browns but instead are home fries or parmentier, cut into cubes and cooked ahead so they are not on the hot side but are on the dry side. The bacon is also well cooked ahead of time and somewhat warm. The whole wheat toast was tasty and well toasted on the griddle, just the way I like it. They even split the meal onto two plates which was very nice. The carpet is kind of tired as are some of the signs urging you to buy merchandise, but overall, not a bad spot. The Google listing says they have a drive-thru but I did not see one, and can’t find a way to suggest that change.

We came here on April 24th and had the best time with Emma! She was so attentive. It was like she read our minds and didn’t have to ask for a thing. This place is wonderful if so could give 10+ stars I would. The food was perfectly cooked as well. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!

Take a step back in time, and enjoy a gem of a restaurant in a manner and fashion long gone in today's corporate hustle and bussle. The owner is known to come and check on you, and Loves seeing her customers. Stop by their deli and take home, some great home cooking favorites. Excellent place to visit!
