Thought it might be a cool place to meet ladies but the only one with somewhat of a pulse was behind the counter. I might pop in occasionally

Unfortunately we don't have a Caribou coffee where I live, but it's always a treat to visit this one while I'm in town. The Mint Condition Mocha will always be my favorite!

Very late for 6:00 am opening Monday morning April 20, 2015. One worker inside would not open doors. Another arrived at 6:25. Finally let us in with little apology for the inconvenience.
Young worker forgot to put out cream and forgot to give me change. These young workers seem to have no clue as to how important prompt and quality service is to a mature coffee aficianado.
They were cheerfully laughing as if opening half an hour late was not a major transgression. There's a top down administrative quality control problem here. When Caribou is functioning at it's best, it far exceeds the quality of Starbucks, but when they drop the ball, like today, it stinks.

EDIT: I did in fact email Caribou Coffee customer service the day of the incident but I have not heard back from them, it has been 3 days (and yes I checked my spam folder). A thought-- perhaps that barista saw me come in from outside in their patio area with their white mug and somehow though I just arrived and thought I expected a refill without buying anything? When in fact I bought a latte when they opened at 630am and had been sitting outside sipping the latte. She was not there in the store when I first bought that latte; but the mug was one of their own, ad she should have assumed I came in for a refill after having purchased a latte or coffee.

PRO: For the most part friendly staff, great drinks, great dark roast coffees. Wooden Minnesota theme interior (I am from Minnesota, the land of Caribou Coffee).
CON: I wish the music would not be blasted so loud to the outside patio area-- nowhere to have a little solitude and write or think. Lots of outside tables and chairs and even a water bowl for dogs.
CON: Was treated like a 5 year old recently. Bought an expensive latte as usual, but when I asked for a dark roast coffee refill I was told by a 20 year old Barista that I could have one refill this time, but just one, no more refills beyond one in the future. For years I have gotten a latte and then usually 2 dark roast coffee refills. I have seen Caribou Coffee baristas charge for even one refill, thinking they are not free; apparently such baristas were not trained as to corporate policy which is free refills (I have confirmed this twice with corporate who apologized). I am a retired college teacher and deserve better treatment. I switched to Starbucks down the road where refills are free [with a registered card].

Caribou Coffee is awesome, I love local coffee shops and this one is really something else. There are plenty of tables and free wifi to study or work on class work. The staff is friendly and of course the coffee is great!

This Caribou Coffee is like most others in that it has a wide variety of beverages but not a ton of food. I always love going to Caribou because they have free Wi-fi and there are usually a few people just chatting and enjoying their day. There is an outside area that seats about 10 people.
Having driven past this location around 4:00 pm or later I can say that it gets busy in the evenings. I have never been there in the evenings but I would imagine it is full of college students.

Caribou always provides excellent coffee. This place is really good if not for the usually full parking area. Still give it 5 stars for everything awesome.

I love when I find a Caribou! The staff was very nice. The service was prompt. The coffee was well made!

A local hangout for Chapel Hillers but far enough from the college to avoid the college coffee shop cliché. Excellent coffee choices and breakfast treats that range from baked goods to egg white sandwiches. In the summer their chillier drinks shine, while in the fall and winter a welcoming heat will keep you going through your day
