Comet Coffee

Actually great coffee (haha). My macchiato was offered w a proper glass of water :-) if you like strong espresso that actually goes down really smooth, black w no bitterness, it’s perfect here. Service was great and quick. Also the ambiance and location in the arcade is incomparable.

Every time we come visit Ann Arbor we stop at Comet. Absolutely world-class pour over selections and a great and knowledgeable staff to help you decide.

My favorite espresso in Ann Arbor. Their pour-overs are also good. And my adult daughter loves their hot chocolates, which comes with very nicely done latte art. They have a few sweet snacks to go with your coffee, which are nice, but I do miss the little shortbreads that they used to have.

Small, hole-in-the-alley, coffee-focused shop with knowledgeable and friendly baristas. An excellent hideaway for a good pour over with several single origin coffees to choose from.

The coffee wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. Everything here was really healthy and maybe I'm just not used to it.

The very best tasting coffee in the town, nothing fancy but the quality and smell of the coffee is just unbeatable. Staff are always professional and friendly.

I've been going to Comet since it opened about 10 years ago and it's always such a treat! They always have new coffees to try and I love the tasting notes. So much care for the coffee and it really shows in the final product!

The knowledgeable and friendly staff assisted me with selecting a bag of beans based off of my tastes. Pair this with great service and a fantastic espresso, we'll surely be back!

Awesome coffee and service! Each drink was delicious and perfectly prepared. We had pour-overs (excellent job, to our baristas, Brandon and Jim!) We also enjoyed cascara tea sparklers and iced white peony tea. Loved everything about our visit and experience! Highly recommend!
