Comet Coffee

A great place to get coffee, but is definitely tiny so prepare yourself for being crammed a bit in the shop.

I was not at all a fan of this place. I'd categorize myself as a coffee snob, but these guys are the worst kind of snobs: they're elitists who think your opinion is wrong. I went in there and, unable to select a roast, offered that I tend to like darker roasts with bolder flavors. The barista told me that people usually like dark roasts because the beans are bad and darker roasts disguise the low quality of the beans. I went with it and tried one of their light roasts. And I hated it. Dear barista, it turns out that some people do just like more bitter flavors.

I love the rotating selection of coffees and the friendly staff. The shop itself is small (sometimes a little too small for efficient traffic flow), but nipping in and out for a quick drink to go has never been a problem.

best coffee in Ann Arbor, hands down. even their decaf is so smooth. friendly baristas, too :)

This is by far my favorite espresso bar in the entire world. Comet is the perfect balance of minimalism and hominess... they just happen to make amazing coffee.

Latté tastes great! It has a slight spicy after-taste!

Comet is without a doubt the best coffee shop in town. It's rare to find such exquisite coffee at such a cheap price. Please go visit this wonderful place so it stays open for decades to come!

Comet Coffee is my all-time favorite coffee! The place is small, so I usually can't find a seat, but if I want a latte to go, nothing beats their brew!

Small place but with a good location and ambiance. Hard to study or work there as the machines fill the room with noise, but it's not the kind of place meant for that kind of thing. Nice for a quick meetup.

Great coffee shop, hardly any seating though, so it's really only good if you want to walk around Ann Arbor.
