ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy to go. once I got home and opened the bag to a half order. considering I payed $7.50 for a half order is very frustrating.

Wonderful! I stopped in for lunch while in Lawrence from out of town. Had their mushroom melt and it was the best sandwich I have had, anywhere, in quite some time. My family enjoyed the baked goods I brought home. They have a full menu of creative options that I would love to work my way through. I will have to find excuses to make the drive back to Lawrence.

The tiramisu and biscuits & gravy were absolutely TO DIE FOR. Some of the best food I've ever eaten. People were friendly, will definitely be back every time I'm in town.

Love the breads for home. The breakfast and lunch menu has great variety and everything I have tasted was wonderful. Pastries are beautiful and tasty. Best local

This is my favorite place to eat no matter the time of day. I love their turkey cranberry sandwich. If I could eat just one thing for the rest of my life, it would probably be the turkey cranberry sandwich. I drive 30 minutes just to buy their bread.

Great place to have breakfast! Almost everything is good, so it's hard to go wrong. Get there early for a flaky almond croissant, so good they seem to sell out fast. Pecan raisin bread is also exceptional here. Thanks to your staff for providing such friendly service and delicious baked goods! Always look forward to a Wheatfields treat!

My girlfriend Maggi and I rode our bicycles from Desoto KS to Lawrence and while we were in Lawrence we stopped at Wheatfields for a bite to eat. Maggi ordered the Breakfast Burrito while I had my eye on the Pastrami Reuben. Both were delicious but I have ordered Reuben's from several places, this one is running a very close second to Sherman's in Palm Desert. I Love This Place

You won't find meals like this at any other bakery. All kinds of homemade breads, big delicious cookies and the winner that keeps me coming back every weekend are the cinnamon rolls!! Remember how yummy the ones that the school always served with chili...these are even better.

A great spot for a grabbing a quick bite to eat downtown. The staff is always efficient and really helpful if you have any questions. And their ham + pineapple sandwich is a real treat.

I love Wheatfields, but they changed their delicious shredded hash Browns to cubed type that aren’t nearly as delicious and also last time we tried, no link sausage, just bacon. Please give the old hash browns & link sausage tenure & you will be back to 5 star!!!
