Terrebonne Po' Boys

One of my favorite places in Lawrence. It’s such a cute spot, but doesn’t offer indoor dining. They have a patio with seating. They will be moving to a new spot on Mass St summer of 2022 and I’m excited to see how they expand their menu! They will also have indoor seating at the new site.

My go-to Po Boy is either fried chicken or catfish - too hard to pick just one. They have the best hush puppies and their okra is to die for. Their Cajun corn dog is another favorite in my house. Can’t go wrong coming here!

So so So good. I absolutely clove their new store front. The menu is still consistent and diverse, offering the exact Cajun cuisine we’ve fallen in love with. The wall decor gives the restaurant the same quaint atmosphere the smaller building did.

Heads up! you order and pay for the food up front first then you’ll be given a numbered plaque to take with you. Then it’s freedom in where you want to sit and the sauces are free for all! The place had such a quirky and welcoming environment. Everyone there was very nice and great with compliments :D

The food was good, I had the fried shrimp po boys and Poutine. The po boy tasted refreshing and healthy, the shrimp was good for the most part except the tail end of it was oddly hard (not crunchy). The poutine had such a wonderful savory yet slightly sweet gravy.

The jambalaya was so good. The hush puppies were perfect. The grilled chicken Poboy was delish.

Next time for me is trying their soups and on Wednesday is Meatloaf.

Friendly staff, quick service and the food was hot and fresh.

Ordered the fried catfish po' boy and cajun fries. Fish was tasty and the breading was crisp, not greasy, and not over cooked.

Fries were seasoned heavily and tasted great. Portion sizes were large, even for the side of fries (it was a separate full basket aside from the po' boy that came in its own basket.)

Atmosphere was very home-y and felt like a little hometown restaurant in a movie.

Would definitely come back.

Had the shrimp and chicken po' boy delicious. Great service. Excellent food would recommend if you want to try something new. Edit: they recently move locations. They have indoor seating and friendly staff. I would still eat here. The quality of food has not changed.

Fantastic. Hush puppies were some of the best I've had. And the muffaletta sandwich on focaccia was top notch.

Best poboy I’ve had and it was as far from the sea as you can get. The fries were crispy and soft in the knside just like the hush puppies.

Firstly, the food is amazing. Secondly, it is so affordable! And finally, they have great customer service. Recently I went there with a girl (not sure if it was a date or not), and while we were choosing a coloring sheet one of the waitresses went out of her way to tell us that the coloring sheet was a picture of 2 girl alligators on a date. Totally sweet, and nice to know. I was happy to have a wingwoman in that moment.

I've been twice now. Both times the mushroom poboy was amazing. It was well executed and delicious. The hush puppies are huge and perfectly deep fried. The atmosphere is funky and welcoming. My only complaint would be that it might need a bit more seating! It's popular!
