I’m not sure why so highly rated, my gambo was puke warm and disgusting

Fast service, awesome food, great atmosphere. Love the new location. Was great to have indoor seating and the soda fountain was a big improvement over the drink selection at the previous location. The grilled shrimp Po boy with provolone and slaw with poutine fries and an ooey gooey chocolate bar is my go to meal from here.

Been there a handful of times. The Sandwiches are pretty fair. Their gumbo is pretty standard, good flavor. Their deserts can be overly sweet. I went there earlier today and got the jambalaya and they gave me soup. I feel kind of ripped off by the lack of rice in the rice dish. I got more rice with the gumbo. All in all. Don’t think I’ll be back for a long long while.

Excellent southern style food. Get the red beans and rice!

Got there just before end of KU game, perfect timing. Table right away. Ordered several extra dishes, fried okra (yum). And an order of 6 giant hush puppies. 2 orders of seasoned fries. One chicken salad sammich, 2 shrimp po-boys and a cheddar cheese po-boy. So for 4 people,a lot. Everything was over the top.

Just as good as anywhere we have eaten during Mardi Gras.

The food is always very good. Try the specials. Every day is a new dish. And always worth it.

Oh my god! This place is SUPERB. I'm really not even playing when I say this, I'm on a road trip from New York and this is easily some of the best local food I've ever eaten. Literally every single thing I tried out was delicious! Grilled chicken po' boy was perfectly seasoned and the Cajun fries were delicious....we also had the smoked Gouda cheese and shells which hit the spot! 10/10 absolutely eat here!

My spouse and I had lunch. Service was extremely slow. But the food was good. I would rate it higher except there was a big clump of congeo grits in my shrimp and grits.
