I’ve tried the Philly, jambalaya and this is the rueben and gumbo! All have been very delicious! Great service, thank you!

Decided to stop in for a late lunch. It was pretty quiet around 2 pm on a weekday, but there was a healthy flow of people in and out. The atmosphere was really chill, and the food was honestly better than I expected. The Cajun fries were really nice, the perfect level of crispy with a hint of spice. Will be coming back soon!

Was absolutely blown away at this place!! The atmosphere is fun and friendly; the decorations are retro and bring back good memories. And the food? Just wow!! Stuffed myself stupid with the grilled shrimp poboy & fries. So very very delicious!! And you must try the creole hard boiled egg & their desserts. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!! 💝💝💝⚜️

Gumbo was some of the best I've had. The hushpuppies that come with it are delicious as well. Also really like the corndog.corn dog. Banana foster bread pudding was good.

Great jambalaya best in town. Small inside seating, don't let that deter you great food with awesome flavor.

Upadte: They have moved to Massachusetts Street and now have a large dine in area to sit. The food is still great and a good vibe here. The Gumbo is great. So is the banana foster bread pudding.

Their hush puppies are amazing!! The service was great and food came out quickly and good beer on tap. You can't go wrong with the shrimp po'boy and I had the creole gumbo and it was great too. Definitely going again!

Had dinner with my dad and stepmother tonight and it was fantastic, as always. I had the shrimp po' boy, my dad had the rueben, and stepmom had the jambalaya- so good!

I had the smoked chicken sandwich. The chicken was very flavorful, the sandwich sauce was good but the issue I had was there was alot of fat/chicken skin in the pulled chicken. I don't know how else to describe it. Also, the pickle that is on the sandwich makes the bread soggy. So ask for dry/no pickles and/or eat quickly! Lol

It all tasted good but the texture of fat/skin wasn't for me.

Unexpectedly, my wife surprised me the other day with dinner, and it was the same sandwich. This time there was no fat or skin in any bites I took. It was delightful!

So, for food, 3/5 stars because of the quality inconsistency.

Glad they have a larger storefront now. It's much more inviting!

Very respectable muffaletta (served by 1/4, 1/2 and a large whole) and shrimp bisque.

One of my favorite places to eat here in town. I love Cajun food but it's hard to find good places. The Gumbo and Jambalaya are delicious and the hush puppies were unexpectedly excellent. It's one of the places I recommend when people ask for a place to eat
