Amazing find! I've been waiting months to experience Terrebone! Super delicious!

Some of the best cuisine in Lawrence. Great selection, but not an overly stuffed menu. Everything there is done well. Been impressed with their cleanliness and distancing through out Covid-times. I'm a fan of the poboy w/ slaw.

Not Louisiana, but definitely good enough if you need a fix. Best Shrimp poboy I have had outside of New Orleans. Definitely worth it.

There are Cajun restaurants in the KC Metro area, but if you want an authentic flavor, go to this place. Prices reasonable and flavors are outstanding
Hint: Get the Side of Red Beans and rice and mix it in a cup of Gumbo. Have some hush puppies on the side. Truly a taste treat.
IMPORTANT: Limited Seating!!! Unless you are getting it to go, you may have to eat in cramped eating area.

Fantastic sandwiches and the only place in town to get good cajun fries. The decor is quirky but cozy and the service is great. Seating can be a little bit of a challenge, especially if the weather doesn't allow outdoor seating. Reasonably priced and always has a good special. One of my favorite lunch stops in Lawrence!

Tried this for the first time today, online ordering was easy but credit card is needed. Order was placed outside for pickup so no need for social interaction.
Ordered red beans and rice and a shrimp Po Boy both were good. Beans could have been cooked a little longer but given the current situation, I am not going to complain.
The Po Boy was really good.
I definitely will be returning to try several more dishes.

One of my favorite places! Delicious New Orleans grub. I really enjoy the Shrimp Po'boy and the fried okra. The creole devil eggs are something worth trying. Also love the Gumbo and Jambalaya. So check them out what are you waiting for?

In Lawrence and stopped by based on reviews. This place is beyond 5 stars imo. Very fresh flavors with a aroma from the sidewalk to drool over! We called in our order and waited for the friendly cook to drop off the brown paper sack filled with goodness with our name on it. Which felt a lot longer than it really took. We are already planning a second trip with friends to share this great spot!

The funky atmosphere and nice folks who work there just add to the truly great food experience. The jambalaya and gumbo are bowls of savoury comfort. Probably the best hushpuppies I have ever had. Eat in, take out, it's all good!

The food here is so good. The distinction of flavors between gumbo and jambalaya is well-pronounced, unlike other restaurants that claim to serve cajun food in Kansas City. Will be back until we've had the entire menu!
Updated 10/13/2020: today we tried their peanut butter bar. Y'ALL NEED TO TRY ONE. These bars are SO good. It's like a Butterfinger, but in dessert bar form. Heavenly 😍😍😍
