The basil leaf is wonderful. We had amazing service & delicious food here in a cozy, intimate environment. I had the Mac & cheese, the meatball appetizer and a Caesar salad for dinner, followed by tiramisu & cheesecake both for dessert. All were scrumptious! Definitely come and try their food.

Had an amazing experience tonight. My roommate and I decided to treat ourselves after a long week and these guys delivered! The food was hot, fresh and delicious! Our server was very nice and made sure we got what we needed. Definitely coming back in the near future.

Food came in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious! We tried two dishes and loved em both!
For desert we had the tiramisu and it was out of this world good!

First time at the Basil Leaf and it was amazing! I loved the Shrimp Scampi and the Tiramisu Martini! Our server, Elayne, recommended both, and I was impressed with both. Would recommend to anyone new to Lawrence, or who has been wanting to try! 🤍

My husband and I went to eat here the other night. The food came out in a timely fashion and our server Grace took such good care of us. She never made us feel rushed or abandoned. The drinks were delicious and I will definitely be back for more! 10/10 recommend!
