Definitely needed in the neighborhood. The quality of the food is outstanding!!! My only problem is trying to decide what to order. The salads are excellent and the portions very generous. The ingredients are always fresh. The grilled cheese short rib sandwich is sooooo good. And let's not forget the avocado toast - enough to share. You can't go wrong with the cheesecake - my favorite is lemon.

My wife, granddaughter, and I stopped by today. I had the Southside sandwich and a great latte. Food and coffee are first class. My wife had the avocado sandwich with plenty to take home. Afro Joe is a great guy and Barista Kennedy couldn't have been nicer. According to my granddaughter, "They know how to do it right". Without a doubt, this is the best coffee shop on the Southside. We'll be back.

LOVE this place. They're kind, talented people and the atmosphere is warm but contemporary. Every time I order the Barista's Choice I'm happy with what they make. Excellent in every way.

Love this new spot! Friendly and informative staff. I tried the cold brew and it really gave me the extra boost to get through my day. Very happy to see staff preparing food and wearing gloves!

Really a great spot. I love their coffee, and they have great sandwiches. Nice spot to stop in for lunch, or to experience live music on Saturdays.

Visiting from out of town (Jersey City, NJ). My friends brought me to the frequent, black owned, hangout spot. I loved the ambience, art, setting and etc. The staff was amazing and ordering my drink and food of choice was easy with no hassle. Y'all have to try the South side Rib Grill Chesse, it's very good and filling. I met the owner that day too. He made me feel so welcomed. If there was a spot in Jersey, I would definitely go there with my laptop, order and do my thing. When I go back to Chicago, I'll definitely visit again! Also, get better pictured. Thanks for the hospitality and great service.

Our office ordered lunch from them and I ended up getting the Chatham Cheese grilled cheese sandwich, because they didn't have the avocado toast. I wasn't sure what to expect, but boy it did not disappoint. Tasted great with just the right amount of crisp! Looking forward to trying their other offerings soon.
