New to the Beverly neighborhood but not new if you know. Yummy food and delicious drink options. The atmosphere is beautiful with great outdoor and indoor options.

This place has never failed. Thank you for delivering great coffee, great customer service and creating a comfortable space for work, and socializing.

The space is refreshing and the food delicious! From the moment you enter Afro Joes, you are welcomed with a smile from both staff and fellow customers, which speaks volumes about the vibe in this urban oasis! The owners are present and attentive, answering questions about their menu and offering small chit chat about the community. Now let's get to THE FOOD! The short rib grilled cheese and cucumber salad lives up to the hype. Not too sweet but very tender meat and cheese melted between soft yet crunchy sourdough bread. Make it a combo and do grab the lavender lemonade! And because I love having an array of options when I dine, I also shared a salmon blt (upgrade to the cherrywood* bacon for a treat!) with a friend. I had leftovers that reheated delightfully in the oven. I look forward to returning soon to enjoy a specialty latte while conversing with the always seen coffee club, as the gentleman who frequent daily are fondly called. It's a gem in the area and shines bright on what supporting your community should look like.
Great space to bring your laptop to work (outlets at every table) or be communal in a creative space with soft soulful music playing in the backdrop.

Always reliably delicious and comfortable. My dog is at eas too. Not only do they have coffee but they gave amazing lemonade.

Had the short rib sandwich and it's really good and was full of meat which is shocking because most places put some meat in the middle and the edges of the sandwich is just bread. The meat was flavorful and tender. The bread had great crunch and was buttery and delicious. My only critique is that 13 bucks for just a sandwich with no real side is a lot. But again at least the sandwich was full of meat.

Afro Joe’s on Sunday has the house music going and the great sandwiches flowing. New spot is better than the old! Keep it up Afro Joe.

The staff there is friendly and welcoming to all. the ambiance to me is tops. Cinnamon rolls or puffs are soooo scrumptious, the tea has that strong robust flavor that you can taste the flavor in every swallow, and lastly the breakfast sandwich I had was so juicy and delicious as well as the bread being soft. Everything was hot and on time. I really enjoyed myself and breakfast there, will be going back real soon.
P.S. SOOO excited that WE have a Cafe' in our neighborhood, KUDOS to the owners and continue to good works

This is a gem hidden in Auburn Gresham. It is a family run restaurant with a super friendly staff. They promote location artists artwork on the walls and have live music on the weekends. The menu, the are an array of menu options. Each item is so good, I honestly purchased 6 items off the menu for takeaway.

So glad that Afro Joe's exists! The owner said that he and team only make food that they love to eat... and I gotta say, they have great taste!
