This place has great staff that are polite and engaging. The food and beverages are the best! I can’t wait to come back to try their lunch items! Highly recommended for that chill morning or afternoon bite.

This a cool little spot. I hesitate to say too much cause I love the neighborhood vibe. It’s small and cute indoor/outdoor seating. DJ suppling a mood cool alone to just chill out or coffee with a friend even a doggie section for safe keeping. I’m not a huge fan of pups around food but the well behaved pups were cool, the big barking dogs 😑
The drinks were great and the sandwiches were awesome. Going back soon as I can.

Ordered the Caramel Macchiato cold and the “The Englewood” which is a turkey sandwich and it was good. Look forward to coming back!!!

This morning was my first visit to Afro Joe's. I had read a couple of excellent articles about this business as well as it's owners. I had also received several excellent first hand accounts of visits made by family members. Everything was superior. The owners and their staff were all very pleasant and personable. I highly recommend this business.

Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service. Coffee was outstanding! Will definitely be back.

This space is gorgeous. We went on a rainy late Saturday morning. It was crowded, but we were able to grab a table and place our order. We ordered two cold brews, a salad (which was pre-made), avocado toast, and a grilled cheese. Our coffee came out quickly, we both ordered cold brew with oat milk and two sweeteners. Our coffee did not have sweetener and only a splash of milk. No big deal, we grabbed some sweetener and some more oat milk, the staff was helpful. We sat and waited. They were setting up for live music & it was very chaotic. At one point they completely relocated two tables, asked people to stand or move while they were eating.
At the 30 minute mark of waiting for our food, my husband asked about how much longer and was met with a flippant response of "I don't know, probably 15 or 20 minutes. Our avocado toast is popular." No apology or hey, thanks for waiting, we are short staffed. It was frustrating. We asked to just wrap our food to go. We ended up waiting over 45 minutes for avocado toast & a grilled cheese. The food was meh. Over $50 for a not really great experience.
The band was delightful once they were done playing tetris with the tables.
It's a great addition to the neighborhood. We would likely give them another chance but only a to go order.

I love Afro Joe's! Everything I've had has been amazing. They even have some yummy breakfast options. I always devour the sandwiches before I can get a picture. They are that good! They have such a variety of coffee and tea options. I also really like that they give several non dairy milk options. The store is very spacious, so they even hold really cool events there. I love this place and you will too!
