I am a Coffee Connoisseur so when I hear about new coffee shops in the city ESPECIALLY BLACK OWNED, I'm on it! I absolutely loved this spot. If corona wasn't happening it would be everything you could imagine in a cozy modern coffee shop. I had a Caramel Latte with chocolate drizzle and it was delicious! They also have implemented a new lunch menu and the options sound quite delicious! Very friendly and informative customer service. Please go pay a visit to this Black Owned establishment! I truly think you'll enjoy your visit!

The food is terrific! Had the BLT and it was all good. I'm a big bread guy and they do not disappoint on that front! Will definitely be coming back. They also have a little dog park.

Love it here. The owner is very nice. The avocado toast was great as well as the coffee. It is also dog-friendly which is a plus. Love this place.

This place is the definition of good vibes! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The short rib panini and salted caramel macchiato are amazing! Iโll definitely be returning!

The Bronzeville Breakfast Sandwich is at least tied with the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Same for the tea lattes. Great iced tea & espresso lattes too so you really can't go wrong here.

I live south east and have traveled to Beverly at least 6 times since they have opened for their caramel macchiato. Last time I decided to get the BLT with cheese added and it was amazing. The only thing needed is a greenery wall so I can take pictures sipping on my delicious coffee ๐

Dope spot with good vibes! Owners and staff are very professional and provide good service. Love the art displayed and having good food and teas/coffee is the cherry on top! Try the immunity boost chai. The only negative is that the landlord is making them remove their patio, lame. Thatโs cool, Afro Joeโs going to the top!

Great neighbor spot not only for coffee โ๏ธ or tea ๐ซ ( hot or cold ๐) - but for me one of their sandwiches the Bronzville breakfast sandwich was ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ Okay.. they also have freshly made salads , homemade Guacamole ๐ฅ spread on toasted bread - Enough said go check it out for yourself.. they even have a place for your dog ๐ to rest while you order - either to go or stay.. ohh one more thing their music playlist ๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐คฉ!!!

Do you like coffee? Do you like sandwiches? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this place is perfect for you. I took my dad here for an early morning birthday breakfast that would fit in our busy schedules and this place delivered on food, coffee and ambience. The staff members really make the experience great. They are all upbeat and really care about their craft when making the coffee and sandwiches. They made sure we were all good and satisfied with our food. My dad had the hot chocolate with the Englewood sandwich. That sandwich is probably the tastiest sandwich I've ever tasted and I've had plenty of sandwiches. When I mentioned to the hostess that my dad loves sweets, they made sure to add caramel and whipped cream to his hot chocolate. He thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the caramel machiato and the breakfast sandwich. That Chipotle mayo they put on it is bomb. So if you're ever on the Southside and looking for a quick but well crafted breakfast or lunch, stop by Afro Joe's! But like drive slowly down 99th street because if you blink, you'll miss it. It's back in the cut in the corner.
