Katz’s New York Deli

Cute place! Great sandwiches….. stop in for a nice coffee or dessert

Friendly people, nice home-y atmosphere. Yummy food and delicious coffee. Prices are reasonable. We have not had a chance to order anything big yet, but we have ordered pastries, bagels etc. I always see people in the dining area, and no one is complaining. So I trust that the rest of the food is delicious. We need to plan for time to try breakfast or lunch there soon.

While visiting from out of state, we spotted this cute restaurant and decided to try it. Sadly, we were not too impressed. The prices are unreasonably high and the sandwiches mediocre — certainly not comparable to New York's Katz's Deli (which we have eaten at). Also, the woman behind the counter was frazzled and curt, making you feel rushed and as if your ordering was greatly inconveniencing her.

Not like a “NY deli” in any way. I’m super sad because I had high hopes of spending a lot of money here if it was like real egg sandwiches.. or good coffee.. or speed.

Our food was very good. The turkey club was gigantic. The outdoor tables under the trees were a great option for the beautiful weather we had. Liked that the staff had on masks. I will say, this place is a little pricey, so be ready.

Extremely disappointing. We went in to purchase “New York water bagels” and came out with pre-sliced Lenders bagels for $1.90 each. And the coffee was terrible. Don’t waste your time or money going here.

Being a Real NY'er this should be TradeMark Infringement on the real Kat's. Over Priced, Under Deliver and I had the Luxury on being there on a Non tourist Day. Which they laughed and Talked bad about tourist for our entire time eating. You'll get Zero Service and Bad Attitude for simple questions. Without the Train bringing in people they wouldn't be open ANYWHERE!!!!

My new favorite deli! They have breakfast or lunch. Kids had the pancakes and I had the turkey sandwich, all of it is amazing! Also the restaurant itself is a beautiful old bungalow. Such a cute and delicious place to eat!

We went for breakfast. It was really good. A little more expensive than I thought.

6/24/19 BEST CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH EVER!! The Corned beef was also very good. You can tell when the kitchen staff and the servers care about the food they serve. Service was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will drive back to Blue Ridge and take the train just to have a great experience again...Your staff made sure lunch was served in time to make the train deadline...We asked the train host to recommend you to future visitors. Thanks for a great lunch! Karen & Jim
