Katz's is a great restaurant in downtown McCaysville/Copper Hill. It is a family owned established that has a real home feel, it's comfortable and has cozy seating with a choice from multiple sitting rooms. They have a very friendly staff and owners. The food is great. Who would expect knishes and lox in this area. The omelets are good and try the corned beef hash. They just added cold brew coffee to their extensive coffee menu. You will see the locals coming here to eat. And its made fresh.

I had Ruben with red cabbage. Manly size of meat, Delicious! Very good Cole slaw. Coffee excellent . Family owned. Worth a visit back to try their bakery items.

Awesome pastrami reuben.
My husband had pastrami sandwich, it was awesome too. We will be back again! Smiling faces on their staff as well. Great place

Best Reuben I've ever had. Staff is friendly and attentive. Corned beef hash is excellent. We just moved to Mineral Bluff and we'll be back. This deli is awesome.
Thanks,
John

We’re native New Yorkers. This is NOT authentic Katz. They don’t have kosher hot dogs and the knish was fried mash potatoes. All I can say is it was truly a disappointment and overpriced. But the young lady, our server was nice.

So glad Mrs. Katz met the Copper Hill Train and directed us to her family's fabulous New York style deli on the Tennessee/Georgia line. We enjoyed the best perogies we've eaten since living in the Pittsburg area. Their turkey club sandwich was awesome! The restaurant is situated in an historic home and each of the dining areas are as comfortable as they are beautiful. There is also an outdoor eating area which is shaded and cozy. We look foward to eating here again and tasting the wide variety of deli delights next time we are in town.

Nice place but food is extremely expensive. For 5 people it was $69. That included 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for 2 kids and an order of pancakes. A vanilla shake was $5 and was bought after our order so totally was $74. The food was good but to way to expensive.

Coffee was great... French toast could use a second dip in the breading, bacon was slightly overdone but overall it was very good... Not a cheap meal but everything is prepared to order... Did I mention the coffee was great?

Charming deli and very good coffee. It was a nice find while vacationing in a nearby cabin. The owners and/or staff were lovely.

Yummy Pierogies and an almond milk chocolate mocha! Was able to check some emails and enjoy the passerby’s.

i was delighted to find Katz's New York Deli in McCaysville, Georgia, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They not only have fresh bagels and wonderful sandwiches, and delicious pastries and confections, but great fresh-brewed coffee, which is always a plus. The building is a converted charming old brick house and the interior is warm and inviting. Fran and Steve, the proprietors, are gracious and accommodating. They are original authentic New Yorkers, who discovered the lure and beauty of the mountains, and relocated to paradise. They genuinely care about making each customer's experience special. Conveniently located right across the street from the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway station in McCaysville, this is a refreshing change from the standard fast-food fare. Try it, you'll like it.
