Found this spot via google maps and was near the hotel during my stay in DC.
A very spacious and beautiful place! I loved the decor and style.
The person serving me was very welcoming and helpful, they eventually made my coffee.
This place is card only and no cash.
I opted for a cookie which was amazing and I appreciated the coffee cup! Very nice.
I only deducted a star as my coffee was lukewarm otherwise a 5* establishment.

Great little shop, a great break from the chains. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. I had a muffin and latte and ended up being fantastic. We received the wrong beverage while we were here, but that’s the only down for us! Great stop, really recommend! They really do care for their craft!

Nice and original coffee shop, lounge atmosphere minus the lounge sofas unfortunately, but relaxing lofi music 🎶
Food is tasty, flies 🪰on pastries slightly less though…so maybe a closed display would be better…
I do back up previous comment mentioning the lack of cleanliness of tables…
Lastly unexpected but quiet and not too busy location 📍
I had a mocha☕️, chocolate dip and apple pastrie 🥐! Overall I enjoyed the place !
(Without ‘naming’ , make sure your waitresses actually greet clients, it’s the minimum in customer facing positions even more in a coffee shop : first one that took my order almost sounded rude, thankfully second waitress later saved the day !)

This is a wonderful little coffee shop and a must visit if you’re taking a coffee shop tour of DC. The parking was not great, so I had to part about 4 blocks away and walk. The shop was really cute inside and was not super crowded which was nice. The coffee and food was delicious!

Wonderful little non-descript coffee shop with some really interesting seasonal drinks! I got a cold brew, but was interested in their Kyoto cold brew that was sold out. I really wanna try the clarity seasonal drink because its a soda with an espresso concentrate!
The staff were very nice, and the steam punk/science aesthetic was on point. I would come here to hang out. Not necessarily to study though, it wasn't super loungey. Also marking down because the tables were not the cleanest even though I came in when it looked like there was downtime.
Also has a single stalled gender neutral restroom with keypad that you get from the baristas.

Walked in and was greeted by a lovely woman who had a smile on her face. I ordered a cold brew and a quiche. She did mention that they did not have almond milk only whole, which was not a problem for me. $12 for both after tip.
I ended up coming back and ordering four more coffees for the adults I was with and again, great ordering experience. $25 for all 4 after tip.
If you're in the area and looking for something other than chain coffee, check them out!

It’s quite place to get work done. I liked their new social rose cold brew. The cinnamon roll and strawberry loaf are delicious

I searched "best coffee in Dc" this was the top suggestion. I know why it was! Such a beautiful cafe! The coffee was absolutely amazing obviously crafted well.

Such a chic hipster coffeeshop . I loved their oat milk lavender latte. I was less of a fan of their seasonal special drinks (clarity) but it was nice to try it

A nice coffee shop. I'm not a coffee drinker but the chai is pretty good. They have an in house blend they make from scratch. Sweet science coffee has baked goods as well as oat meals and juices. The staff is good and will answer all your questions.
