The coffee is delicious here but customer focus is off. After having two coffee drinks (~$10) over 1.5h I was set to order lunch, but realized I'd been kicked off the internet with a black out period of 5 hours. I asked the staff if there was a way to extend it and they said no. At this point there was me and one other person in the store. I had to pack up and go to Peets around the corner to order lunch and another coffee to keep working. Cool spot and good coffee, but have some procedures in place that don't make it a great place to knock out work and keep guzzling good coffee. Peets is around the corner and much more accommodating.

I’ve been to both locations, and this coffee shop is quaint, clean, remote- work friendly and best of all the coffee taste the way good coffee should taste like! Great customer service too.

Sweet Science Coffee provided me with the fuel to get through crowded Metro rides and long lines during our family trip to Washington DC. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about with all my caffeinated needs.

The employees were really sweet and helpful. And their biscuits are legit.

This is probably one of my favorite coffee shops for working in DC! Low volume music, great pastries and drinks, wifi, outlets, and friendly service. Parking in this area is a bit crazy, but overall great experience.

My husband and I stopped for a quick coffee and breakfast. Home made pop tarts were delicious and coffee was deep and rich. We both drink black and were not disappointed.

Stopped by Sweet Science Coffee in Arlington, VA again and had one of the best espresso shots (a Rwandan coffee) we'd tasted in years, notes of sweet cherry and brown sugar. Also had a house iced coffee that was a Nicaraguan and Papua New Guinea. It had notes of apricot and awesome sweetness, even shining through the milk. Was also blown away by the farm-specific coffee options for coffee beans to take home. And had a killer chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. What a taste experience!

Great coffee and friendly service.

Wonderfully friendly with first class coffees including delicate flavorings (I normally don't flavor my espresso, but go for the lavender for a taste treat).
