I’ve been here twice in the past few weeks. The food is delicious and unique. I am working my way through the menu and everything is delicious with generous portions. I have tried the papas bowl, the Meredith turkey sandwich, the lavender latte, the elderflower spritz, and a variety of pastries. Service is excellent and the place is incredibly beautiful.
It is a cafe with a good atmosphere that matches the image of nature. However, since the tree and leaf decorations are all artificial plastics, it is expected that it will be difficult to manage if dust accumulates later.
Tableware is luxurious enough to remind you of Delft Blue. However, the taste of bread is normal and the taste of coffee is also average compared to the packaging of beans decorated with fancy designs.
This is a tough one to rate. The venue is beautiful so much light and greenery(even though it's mostly fake) it gives you a very good feel. It's a very nice place to go and hang out in the morning. The drinks were pretty good and the baked goods were good. The cooked food I had wasn't all that though, even though I just ordered potatoes.
This place is a gem and I truly recommend it!!! I really don’t understand the bad reviews. Their coffee tastes so good and many types of coffee in different countries and places, so I know what I’m talking about. Their pastries are very tasty and delicious, same is the food. So if you’re around, go give it a try. The interior is also very instagrammable. You won’t regret! ☺️
On first impression I didn’t like walking back and forth to different doors to figure out how to enter. I waved to the employees but they just stared at me. It wasn’t until a neighbor walked me to the THIRD set of doors all the way in the back to enter the establishment. Then the neighbor said “they have you looking stupid, just to go inside”
Upon entering, I really like the ambiance. Didn’t like the over price kombucha, however the quality peach-mango ice tea was refreshing (orange blossom honey)
Exceptional coffee and even better atmosphere! Decor was outstanding and the music was sublime. Will certainly try to incorporate a trip into a weekend routine. Scone was tasty as well. Even with the bustle and slightly long wait in line the experience was worth it.
I will DEFINITELY be back! This place is SOOOO CUTE! You can get all the cute pics for the gram here haha. Perfect location for a coffee or lunch date! Best coffee I’ve had in the union market area! The almond chocolate croissant was heaven.
Delicious sweets and sandwiches. I was in awe while watching Crystal managing a long queue and six boxes of pastry order. She was the epitome of professionalism and grace. Thank you Crystal, sweet girl, for making my mornings with the most delicious coffee and breakfast, and your friendly smile in DC.
Cutest cafe in DC! Feels almossstt like being in Europe! They did a fantastic job with the decor and the food is FANTASTIC! 10/10 for presentation and deliciousness. I was a little worried with all the previous negative reviews, but I think since this place is so new, they are still working things out. I’m excited to come here more regularly and try everything on the menu 😍
Visiting a friend when we stumbled across this place and we were pleasantly surprised! I had the avocado toast/tartine and it was delicious. Their homemade oreo was okay, and the pistachio orange olive oil cake was very good and not even that sweet!
I was so surprised that this place only has 3.3 stars. They are pretty pricey, but the atmosphere is great & the food is good, which I’m willing to pay more for. Overall I recommend!

It seems to be a cafe that lacks in many ways.
