La Coop Coffee

I loved the place. It is so cozy and cute. They have seating options around the place. I like the back yard. I order latte. I just wish they have ceramic cups instead of paper.

A very cozy and home-like feel. Coffee is of good quality, kind staff, and very reasonable pricing. Parking can be an issue sometimes, but does not detract from the coffee shop in any meaningful way.

SUCH A CUTE PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD.

I love the vibe and aesthetic. It screams Instagram me haha. Decent as a co-working space as they do have wifi, and the drinks are relatively affordable! The seating is limited, and there is access to outlets, but that's about it. I wouldn't get their food though, I saw someone order a pizza, and they just brought out a frozen pizza and threw it in the oven lol.

I got a black coffee, and it also looks like they sell merch and their single origin coffee. They did not have any light roasts on hand even though it was an option :(.

La Coop is such a lovely neighborhood spot, coffee is always fresh and delicious. Their coffee beans are fair trade sourced. The seating is plentiful and the sun hits the outdoor patio perfectly in the afternoon. Such lovely staff to top it all off.

This place opened during early covid days. It is located in a renovated house and looks adorable! The pumpkin latte is homemade with no syrups, very good! They also sell empanadas which are delicious. The second time we went they were still cold in the middle but the first time they were great. Beautiful outdoor and indoor seating areas. Street parking only.

The service was very subpar. Ordered food that took forever to come out and when we inquired we were met with a lackluster response and no apology for how long it took. Folks working there should at least have the decency to communicate that the food is going to be delayed and not look bewildered when we ask where it's at. Disappointed. The sandwich was really good though, I won’t knock them on that.

Such a beautiful, cute location with a small cafe atmosphere that features nice indoor and outdoor seating! Great Guatemalan coffee, tasty food, and staff was very friendly.

Friendly staff, great coffee, and cozy atmosphere. Had the mocha and the flavors were well balanced.

La Coop is truly a neighborhood gem and the coffee is fantastic. I have been disappointed by some of the local coffee shops but La Coop really nails it. A large latte there is my favorite Friday treat, and the staff is very warm and friendly. It is not pretentious like other DC hipster coffee shops. The muffins are also excellent. The lines have been long lately because the word is out!

Great spot to enjoy a lovely coffee or cold brew. I’ve worked remotely a few times here as the atmosphere is bright and cheery. Staff are friendly and helpful. During the summer they have some great outdoor seating and even a porch for more casual conversations.
