If you’re looking for a cute local coffee shop, this is your place! They make a no fuss chai tea (for the non-coffee drinkers) that I love and there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor space for meeting and working. Definitely recommend!

I'm a fan! La Coop is a wonderful coffee shop that supports small producers in Guatemala with fair prices and business practices. I love the dirty horchata and need to try the other coffees. Guatemalan coffee is known for its chocolatey tones, an interesting flavor compared to that of other more popular country origins here in the US.

As for the experience of visiting the store, I've been coming here since moving to the neighborhood and feel very welcome. Do yourself a favor and try it out!

I love trying local coffee shops and trying their specialty flavors.
This place offers a horchata Latte! I’ve had the best horchata lattes in Los Angeles, so this one is not as good compared to LA. BUT, this cafe has such a cute atmosphere, I still want to support it once in a while when I want a cup of latte. :) they also have non caffeine drink selections. My daughter loves the cute chairs and sofas.

La Coop Coffee House is a family-owned coffee shop in Manor Park in Northwest D.C. just off of Kennedy Street (home of many bright murals). It's in a converted house with picnic tables in the back yard and seating in the front yard and porch. Inside, there's a couch and chairs in the living room with striking wallpaper. There is also window stool seating and tables inside.

The counter is lit by a beautiful "La Coop" sign with friendly staff behind the register. The man taking orders is part of the family that owns the farm in Guatemala where the beans come from. Once they arrive in Washington, D.C., the beans are roasted in the back. You can buy bags of the light, medium, or dark roast on-site.

In addition to a large coffee menu, they also sell horchatas, tea, and chai lattes. Pastries are behind a glass display and range from bagel bites to chocolate chip and banana muffins.

The prices were on par with other top coffee shops in the area.

Four stars for their inspiring story, tasty coffee, and home vibes!

Cozy neighborhood coffee spot. A couple of rooms with seating inside, and there's a big backyard where no one cares if kids run around. My only complaint is that decaf options are slim (e.g., there's no decaf espresso). So glad this place is here, though!

Cute and quaint coffee shop nestled on a quiet street of dc. I love to grab a coffee, bacon egg and cheese or a baked item on my breaks. Swift service and great coffee!

Incredible atmosphere, food, and coffee. Cheddar scone was really good. Perfect place to stop by on a Sunday. We need more spots like this in the neighborhood!

Visit La Coop Coffee! The coffee is great, but the atmosphere is fantastic! The baristas were energetic and kind. I would certainly visit again.

An adorable shop with actual cake donuts! Glazed was delightful; and the Capucinno although the larger size still had great espresso flavor with a good nutty oat milk substitute (which sometimes can often be messed up at shops).

Lovely outdoor patio. We had ice cream and a delicious scone. Will come back for coffee!
