Spacious hipster coffeeshop . I ordered chai latte with oat milk and yogurt with granola. I got the yogurt way before my coffee. The granola was amazing , the yogurt was great but I wasn’t a fan of the jam / “fruits”. When they called my name I went to get my coffee and They mistakenly made my drink with almond milk but caught that before I picked it up. So I went back to my seat and then they called me again (could have been nice of them to just bring it to me based on the fact that they made a mistake with the first one).
WOW. This is such a gem in the city and for local chai lovers (they brew there own concentrate!). The overall atmosphere is so lovely and calming on a Sunday morning. Favorite coffee shop in DC, hands down!
📍 Stopped into Doubles for ☕️ cappuccino while in DC! 🌟 Checked in with the barista afterwards and told him I absolutely enjoyed it! 😍 Shared that I had trained with Counter Culture coffee and guess what? He replied back saying he had heard about their amazing training too! 🙌🏼 He even invited me back for a latte art throwdown happening last night! 🎉 Unfortunately, our flight was at 7:00 p.m., but seriously, how cool is that? 😭✈️ Next time, I'll definitely make sure to catch the latte art magic! ☕️💫 #DoublesDC #CappuccinoLove #CoffeeAdventures #CounterCultureCoffee #LatteArtThrowdown #NextTimeForSure
I like it, but the only vegan breakfast option available is a cookie. I don't want to eat a cookie for breakfast. The other things look good though. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is good for working or having coffee with a friend.
Here several times a week! Great employees and coffee. Food looks good and cookies are delicious! I’ve not ventured in for cocktails…yet. Nice place to work away from home, a coffee date, or to read/draw.
the best neighborhood cafe. Lovely inside or out. great coffee great vibes great food. Only negative is that there are not tons of tables and not many plugs
So the ambience here is great, perfect for getting some work done. It's relatively quiet and the WiFi speeds inside are pretty good. I had an iced chai and it was good. I also had yogurt and a ham and cheese croissant, both were disappointing. The croissant barley had any cheese or ham in it, it was just bread basically. The yogurt was just a yogurt cup and some granola on the side. I really expected more for 5$. I would come back here for sure but only for the drinks. Not the food.
In my exploration of non big name coffee shops I came across Colony Club in my research. They seemed to have good events. Nice neighborhood spot. Friendly staff. They have a punch card to earn a free coffee (always a bonus) They also have water on tap which is not new however, this is the first time I've seen sparkling water on tap. Latte was smooth. No sugar needed.
Best cafe in area (Qualia also have amazing pour overs, to be fair). Feels like walking into a Melbourne or San Francisco cafe. Top quality, great value, friendly service. 🚲 pump out front! Love the simple wood fit-out. Excellent minimal breakfast, lunch, snack, menu. Sparkling & chilled water on tap. Then there's the coffee ☕, pour overs that don't cost the earth and espressos on their La Marzocco. Turns into a bar at 5pm with ping pong upstairs. Named after an Australian ultimate frisbee team from Sydney 🙄

After 9 months in DC, I could say that I finally found a 5/5 coffee shop! Great coffee, great space, great vibe!
