Fun and friendly cafe off Georgia Ave. They craft a fine cup of coffee but the uniqueness of this spot is the covered, and heated, outdoor patio. There are dozens of tables that attract a younger crowd working on laptops, chatting about their weekend's mistakes, and enjoying food from Sonny's nextdoor (pizza, sandwiches, salads).

There are ping pong tables too which is always good sport. It's definitely worth paying the coffee entry fee to enjoy the vibes at Doubles.

Love this coffeeshop- tons of covered back patio space, super nice staff, self-serve sparkling and still water on tap, and excellent coffee. The coffee is super smooth, very much my kind of roast. Also, if you are someone who likes their hot coffee drinks truly hot, you'll be very pleased here. I hate when my drinks is just warm so I have to chug it, and the hot coffee temp here allowed me to truly savor my americano.

This is one of my go-to cafes in DC and I don’t even live that close. Good coffee at good prices, lots of space to sit and work for a bit, and shares its outdoor space with Sonny’s so you can get a good slice of pizza too.

Nice local coffee shop with a great back patio (its shared with Sonny’s - same restaurant group).

Grab a coffee, the bacon egg and cheese, and spend a couple hours relaxing with a book out back. I’m excited for when the upstairs opens back up, allegedly it has a bunch of ping pong tables!

I was excited to try this place but there is no indoor seating right now, even with heat lamps it’s too cold to work outside. I wish I would’ve known before I made the hassle of finding parking. I’ll try again in summer because the latte was pretty good!

the best coffee in columbia heights/petworth, and the coffee club membership is a great deal. good food from here + sonny's next door and great outdoor space

Friendly staff and a huge, shady patio out back with lots of tables and good wifi mean I'll be returning, for sure. Good spot to work! Food menu is very limited though and the sandwich I ordered was good, not great, considering the price.
