Sugar Shack Donuts & Coffee

My husband love this place. We go almost every day, but he did get me hooked on the maple donut with bacon. It's so good.

I'm not a "sweets person." So, not an expert on what's really good or what to look for. But I was craving a donut one day and decided to order from here.

They didn't have in stock one of the donuts that I was really looking for but they gave me extra to make up for it. Amazing customer service and delicious donuts. Not something I'll entertain often, but when I do, sugar shack will be top of the list!

I loved the decor, the coffee, the donuts, the baristas, and how well Sugar Shack fits into the Richmond appeal. I don't think they have the best doughnuts I've ever had, but they're definitely worth a bite!

Slow service but really tasty doughnuts, they taste different than other doughnuts I've had in Richmond

Only was fortunate enough to have coffee and donuts but both were very good. Donuts were surprisingly not as sweet as I expected (which is a plus for me). Staff was very nice as well. Definitely looking forward to trying the burgers

It wasn't to busy, they have lot parking so you don't have to look on the street. The donuts were super soft and the coffee is strong. They offer a nice verity of hot teas.

Some of the sweetest people I have met in Richmond. The great service is enough reason to go back. The place is super cute and they have a lot of options!

Very nice and friendly staff! They even had the gluten-free donuts our family needed!! If you haven't been you have to try them. I definitely will be back!

I don’t consider myself a donut connoisseur, but I wasn’t particularly impressed with Sugar Shack. Staff was kind but a bit sluggish when preparing orders/coffee. We purchased 6 donuts - the old fashioned donut was simply amazing. Best sour cream donut I’ve had. The others, not so great. The dough was tasteless and huge. It overpowered the icing/toppings. In my honest opinion, those tasted like a larger donut from Dunkin. I would go back only for the old fashioned donuts.

Yes, the wait can be long...but my chai latte was amazing and the donuts were on point! Just be patient people. This place is way better than starbucks or dunkin any day! Support small businesses!
