Attended the camel for a special event. It was my first time there. Even on a Monday the staff were kind and attentive while dealing with around a hundred plus people. Great selection of local beers that seem to be rotated. Heavy on the IPA. Amped up bar food for the menu. Flyers were posted for upcoming concerts as they seem to have live music fairly often.

Great southwestern burger, a little spicy and a lot of flavor. Beer selection is plenty and the service was great too

My son and I went to see the children's show by Tim Barry. He always entertains. The bartenders made an excellent Roy Rogers for my boy and didn't mind him having a couple of waters afterwards. The service was fairly fast, considering it was a sold out show. Zero complaints and I'll definitely be returning. I didn't have any, but their fries looked delicious!

Great food and Music! Went there to see a band and was totally surprised at the food and the staff. The worst meal I had there was very good. The hamburgers are awesome, the steak sandwich is the BEST in Richmond, salads are fresh. We go there about once a month and are always surprised at how good the dishes are no matter what we order!

Good music, I love going here. There's always live music and a big variety of bands and artists. I did have an unpleasant end to a Monday night when I stepped about 3 feet out of bounds with a PBR and had it ripped out of my hand. I genuinely didn't know this wasn't alright, although apparently the employee had informed the group I was with while I was inside purchasing the drink. I offered to finish it within the gates but this was rudely refused, saying "I told you not to leave" and my drink was entirely confiscated from me.

Absolutely love this place. One of the only places in Richmond where you can count on live music daily. Food and service is excellent as well!! -Meade

The Camel is one of the last remaining bastions of true live music in Virginia. It's funky, intimate, and very accessible to music lovers. They also have an excellent kitchen and a wide selection of beer, wine, and booze..

I had a great time at this venue. It is on the small side. I was glad we got there early to grab a spot at the bar before the event started. We were able to snag the only table on the stage side in the back but we had a great view of the stage. The 502's with Oliver Howard was great!

Great place for local craft beer, good food and live music!
