Sugar Shack Donuts & Coffee

Sugar Shack catered our wedding and the donuts were a hit! Always tasty and the guest loved the grab-and-go option so they could keep dancing. We also provided donut bags so they can take some home with them at the end of the night.

Visiting from another state. I was so
amped when I saw there was a vegan friendly desert shop in Richmond. My first time trying a vegan donut as well. I got two of them and omg soooo good. Definitely getting some more before I leave. And the cashier was nice and stylish (in her unique way), love it. And the shop is so cute as well.

They make homemade donuts which are awesome. The coffee here us 2nd to none. I love this place. It can get crowed in the morning but who cares. Their donuts are worth the wait. 😍

Since they offer Luther Burgers now.....OMG! Please take all of my money!! I tried the Crab Sandwich with Old Bay seasoned waffle fries. 🤤 So So good. This is my 3rd one and I just can't get enough. I highly recommended this place. Come early in the morning for a donut and come back in the afternoon for lunch.

Ordered ahead. The donuts that they had were delicious, but they didn't have all the donuts that I ordered. It was 8 in the morning, but I thought bakers came in early so that the food would be ready in the morning.

Used to be our go-to for doughnuts. Ordered through door dash today and 2 of the 3 old fashioned doughnuts were dry, crumbly and stale as if they were from yesterday. We won't be taking the chance anymore, as it feels like a burn to waste good money on poor product.

Overly sugary flavorless donuts. Run by high school kids who can’t take orders and definitely don’t care. Both our donut order and coffee orders were wrong. When I asked about the incorrect coffee order the person said ‘I made what I made so whatever.’ Adorable.

Yummy donuts! Unusual flavors but they all are delicious. The peanuts in the Babe Ruth donut were a little too much for a light fluffy donut, but the coconut on the Samoa donut was just right. No indoor seating, but they do have a few chairs outside in the parking lot area. Definitely worth a stop.

Today's is my wife's birthday, so I jetted down here early in the morning to grab a dozen of donuts. This is no normal doughnut place, these doughnuts are frigging Amazeballs! Look at the pictures... geesh... bacon covered doughnuts! My wife and kids are going to lose their minds. Got there about 5 mins after they opened and people were already rolling out of the joint. They were out of a couple I wanted, but there was only 1 poor guy there working.. making, baking and checking people out. Well worth the drive. Pretty easy location to get on and off of Rt 95.

I’m giving Sugar Shack 5 stars because their Samoa is the best f**king donut I’ve ever had in my life. The customer service is okay, however, I feel nowadays all food service spots are struggling. It’s not the same as when I was in food service. Patience is key. Saving my Boston Cream for tomorrow’s snow day.

Worst ever coffee, donuts are superb. Worth the stop if you already have coffee.
