Frost Cafe

The food visually was amazing. It tasted excellent and was very well 👌 priced. The staff was attentive and sweet! And its family oriented. Overall, I will go back and recommend them all the time!! 😃 🙂 😺

For a home town feel in a great little town get the vegetable soup. This place give good down home service and food. Webster definition should say Frost café for comfort and food that will make you say "I ate to much, why didn't someone stop me?" Small establishment with easy access that will fulfill your senses.

Great diner, wonderful friendly staff, I had the country ham special platter with home fries woth coffee and 2 eggs. Perfect size, well seasoned and carefully prepared, except for the eggs, which I have ordered scrambled an got them somewhat between an omelet and a true scrambled egg. It didn't bother me, but it was a little dry...anyway, will go back there anytime.

Went twice for breakfast in the same weekend. Good comfort food with an original drug store/diner atmosphere. Pro Tip: the wait for a table can take forever on the weekends - keep an eye on the bar - those seats are first come first serve and may save a long wait ***cash only, ATM on property***

All-around good diner. Had the sausage gravy over two biscuits, with scrambled eggs and cheese. I'm used to having more meat in my gravy, but the scrambled eggs were some of the best I ever had. Biscuits were fluffy and tender, but a bit over-browned on the bottoms (harshly contrasted with how fluffy they were everywhere else). Waitress made sure to come by and top off coffee.
Cash-only, though there are ATMs nearby.

Went to get take out on a Sunday. They were not following any health and safety precautions. Cooks not wearing masks so they were breathing on everyone’s food. Tons of customers waiting to be seated and over crowding entry way without masks. They should really update their seating system to include text message notifications when your table is ready so customers don’t crowd the front door. There was zero social distancing.

It was an uncomfortable experience and I’m disheartened to see the managers and owners not following standards to keep employees and customers safe.

It’s a shame because I love going to this diner when I’m in town visiting friends. Their food is great and the atmosphere pre-COVID was fun.

Pretty good comfort food. Retro styled. They probably were understaffed. Had to wait for food a little longer but very friendly staff

Great down home grub in a vintage atmosphere. We went on a Sunday so it was more crowded then usual which led to a long wait to be seated and a longer wait to receive our meal. The corned beef hash omelette is delicious with your choice of cheese and the coffee was topped off quickly. As always, they only accept cash but they have an ATM in the corner. I recommend this diner as it is a cornerstone in the town of Culpeper and a great anchor for the more transient trendy shops that come and go along Davis.

We drove off the interstate over half an hour to go through Culpeper and to stop at Frost Diner. Man were we glad we did! Not only is the drive to and out of call pepper absolutely beautiful but culpepper itself is beautiful and frost diner does the city and area great justice. The food was wonderful. The prices were very reasonable. And the staff especially the young lady behind the bar were extremely friendly and kind as well as informative and knowledgeable. Just a great great day trip!

I had the Grilled Virginia Ham and it was DELICIOUS! My sides were Mashed Taters with Brown Gravy and Green Beans and. both were very good! Also the prices are very reasonable. We were on vacation, but if my travels ever bring me near Culpepper, VA again then I'll be sure to visit Frost Cafe again!
