Frost Cafe

There was a bit of a wait, but good old fashioned diner food & nice folks on staff.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner, has a real hometown feel. The food was very fresh, delicious. Owner Lisa and her staff are very friendly and inviting.

Been going there for years (but hadn't been there for a couple months), but after today NEVER again. Service issues can be understood when busy, but when people sat down LATER than you get their coffee and you are still waiting for yours... then your server is rude and cuts you off when you try to explain your complaint... you know you're in for a bad experience.

When we got our food, I got undercooked eggs (ordered over medium and got VERY runny - to the point that "over easy" would be more credit than they were worth), hash that tasted sour, and my wife got a pancake that was about the thickness of a crepe. Asked for a refill on coffee when our food was brought out, and was told "I'll let your server know". Saw another waitress carrying around a pot of coffee, stopped at every table, and just before where we were sitting, filled theirs, then turned around and walked away. Never got my refill on coffee. After leaving, spent the rest of the morning in or near a restroom recovering from symptoms similar to low grade food poisoning (I'll leave the gross details out)

I ordered the Rueben and it was over cooked. There was not much taste to it. Even the bread seemed dull.

Worst attitude and service by staff. We were ignored and treated rudely when we asked if we could sit at an empty table by the door. Waitress continued talking and laughing with staff. Finally she snapped “it will take me a few MINUTES to clean it” and went back to laughing. We left and have since heard other stories of hostile employees including one who followed a customer out screaming obscenities. Avoid at all cost!!!

It was so good! When we got our food it was nice and hot. The waitress we had working at the bar was really nice. We will definitely go back. It definitely beats frost diner.

Our breakfast was super delicious. Cafe is so much fun. Everyone works very hard, the food is outstanding and the server we had, Allele, is fantastic! Highly recomend!

Arguing with staff in front of customers. Not very professional. Food and hot chocolate was ok. Does not know prices. Over charges. Payed $3 for like 12 fries

This is one of my favorite places in downtown Culpeper. The food is great and the service is very friendly.
