Place looked like some of the lights were out, were told to sit anywhere but none of the seats were cleared, waited too long to be served and heard way too much coughing in the kitchen. We left before the waitress even came by.

Super cheap prices but great food and friendly employees w great service - definitely worth more than the price, better and cheaper than fast food, great old style diner food and atmosphere. Excellent when you want to sit and eat a great diner meal and/or don't have or want to spend much. Can make a great experience walking Old Town and checking out local shops while having a great place to stop for food on a budget friendly outing/day! As far as I know they still only accept cash - so make sure to have or use atm (there is one inside, but also banks nearby, one just around the corner), if needed, worth the surcharge if you don't bank with any in the area, the cheap cost of food worth it - makes up much more for the unbelievable prices.
Great for kids, groups, alone, bar and table service - no alcohol - diner bar style if sitting at the bar.
Perfect atmosphere for an old town experience, makes you feel like you're back in the 50s-60s - at least for a younger person, from what I've seen in movies in that time era lol.
A perfect stop for a nostalgic feel and/or when you don't have much to spend. A little goes a long way and I've never been disappointed.
Great portions, fun place to sit at the bar w my little one - (she loves that) for a meal during a nice budgeted fun day out.
Have enjoyed every meal and dessert and my little one as well!

As soon as you walk in it has a small town welcoming feel. The waitress (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was phenomenal!! The food was delicious!! We will definitely be returning.

Good food. The fried flounder was really good, as we're the fries. The dessert's are good. Great family dining in a 50's or 60's atmosphere. I recommend the Frost Cafe to anyone visiting in Culpeper.

Great food & service

The hamburger & strawberry milkshake were great.

The Virginia ham was too salty for my taste.

It is in a convenient location within walking distance of stores, restaurants, etc.

Club sandwich quite generous and tasty. French fries are terrific...crispy outside with soft, hot interior. My wife's hot roast beef sandwich could have been hotter, and could have benefited from more beef than was there We like the whole spirit of the Frost Cafe, with it's long counter where we prefer to sit (than in a booth). Prices so low make you wonder how they can turn a profit. Coke establishment. Fountain Coke not too bad but a little out of balance. Good carbonation, could use more flavoring. Be sure to look up at the ceiling.

The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is great! I usually go for breakfast and i bring friends and family here regularly.

Not my first time. I love the atmosphere. The salsa in my Spanish omlet was really off so I will go back to my favorite other omelets.
