I've been coming here longer than I can remember. When I worked close by for lunch and often on the weekend for their brunch. Awesome people, awesome place, awesome food. I make it a point to stop in and enjoy a meal or quick tuna sandwich whenever I'm home visiting! Great to see you guys were still here!!!

**Great Staff, very friendly
**Good food, good price, and short wait for food
Full British Breakfast is great!
Great lunch selection as well
**Great WIFI (much faster than most cafes, easy to connect to and stable)

Great for groups with accommodating tables and seats, and individuals with leather chairs and coffee table.

Have been coming here for years for weekend breakfast. Food is great (especially pancakes) and staff are friendly. Recommended.

My husband and I live a few minutes walk from this wonderful place, but never saw it until we took an irregular turn during our run! We tried it out for brunch, and I have to say that it’s a really good place. It’s affordable, delicious, and has a nice, homely vibe. Highly recommend!

Very standard greasy spoon type breakfast place but with the added bonus of bubble tea! The one star loss is due to many menu items being out of stock/no longer offered.

Extra Perks is a neighborhood cafe owned by a British couple. The space itself is large and looks like an old school, no frills diner. You order in the front and bring your food and drinks to one of the nearby tables. They have a HUGE menu. I ordered an iced latte and it was meh. Nothing to write home about. However, if you have ties to England they sell a variety of products from the UK in their store

Disappointed. —Friday, 10 January 2020: Flipping the lights off while a patron is still in your restaurant is never an acceptable way to inform them that you’re about to close. Ever. And then, when she says that Google indicated you’re open for two more hours (until 6pm), don’t argue or give her attitude, apologize for the inconvenience and have it fixed. Why would an employee ever treat someone this way? I’ll tell you why: at BEST they’re either lazy, poorly trained, and lack manners, OR (at worst) discriminatory. You tell me why this exchange played out this way. The courteous, dignified way to do business is to walk over, excuse yourself and kindly look them in the eye and inform them that you are closing in 10 minutes. To do any less is unsatisfactory. Treat others (...especially customers...) with respect. Every time. In front of a crowd, or if it’s a solitary person. I genuinely hope this is taken care of; not for my sake, for this community’s.

Local coffee shop. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Coffee and a variety of food is available. I prefer this coffee over the chains and the cafe has the advantage of a more comfortable local feel. The cafe is also stocked with an interesting and varied selection of candies and seasonal items.

Indoors seemed quiet and robust. Nothing too unique. They also serve boba! It wasn’t too busy. However the cashier was rude to me while making a transaction.

We love this place and visit each time we're in the DC area. Very simple, kind of quaint. Food is good, service quick and staff is friendly. Owner always treats us very well. Does fill up quickly and can be a bit cramped depending upon where you're seated.
