This cafe was pretty busy when I came in. I had an iced chai and went upstairs on the roof to do some work. I do like this cafe it's a good place to work with a good amount of plugs to charge your devices. The roof is shade but pretty small. Still probably the only coffee shop with a rooftop. I'll have to find back and try some of the food.

The sausage roll scalded the inside of my mouth.
The grumpy employee that served me clearly didn’t want to be there and apparently overheated the roll.

So with no ability to taste i let it cool while i tried the scone, which was stale. Back to roll then, which disappointingly was old too.

The coco loco was ok as was the coffee cake.
Probably won’t go there again as there’re many other options in the area.

I ended up here because another restaurant wasn't dog friendly anymore. The upstairs patio is great! I wish I took a picture of my baby up there but this photo of contentedness will suffice.

I had the spicy veggie pie, I loved it! I then had a lavender latte. Maybe it's because I added sugar to an already sweet drink but it was too sweet -- that's on me!

The cafe is amazing, I got a lavender latte and the the coffee was smooth, flavorful and velvety. The pastry’s were great too, workers were nice and the balcony is a perfect place for reading and drawing, view was pretty too. It was a bit busy, but the line moved surprisingly fast. Great place, 10/10

Got brioche muffin with latte. Have you ever had a brioche muffin? How did I never? It was buttery, very little sweet and just great with the latte. The location is nice and makes this a great hangout spot to get you a coffee and bakery

Very friendly service. The young male employee made several suggestions when I told him what I was craving. He then helped me decide on a Lavendar Iced Latte, which was EXCELLENT!
My son had a lemonade and he said it was delicious and hit the spot on a very hot summer day.
The shop is adorable with lots of seating downstairs, upstairs inside, and a gorgeous view from the seating upstairs outside.

Great Teas the pie crust was doughy..and cake looked good. Betty Crocker with canned icing. No sprucing up taste. Server just tossed pie in container. I didn't complain. Young and probably just a pay check first her. She acted new.

Beautiful space, don’t miss the upstairs rooftop! The coffee was good, pastries ok (I think they are pre-made). The tart cherry pie was way too sweet for my taste.

Tasty specialty coffee, delicious + freshly -baked pastries and friendly, experienced baristas make this one of my fave coffee shops in the DMV. Add in the beautiful waterfront views from the deck patio, and this is a must-visit place to experience.

A cute local cafe in the heart of Alexandria, VA. They have a balcony so you can sit up there and have a nice breakfast while enjoying the view of the river/water. The staff are very friendly and they serve your food within 10 mins. I wish they have more breakfast and pastries options though. I know they aren't dunkin donuts or a breakfast restaurant, but for those that are hoping to get more than coffee I wish they offer more food options.
