Stopped in on our way up to DC for breakfast and treated family to awesome bubble teas. Huge variety!
Food was superb. Simple but executed wonderfully. Friendly staff.
The place does really need a remodel.

(Almost) all the employees were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout the process, from waiting in the line to ordering to letting me know when my order was ready (after the automated buzzer went off at the wrong time).
I had gotten the American Breakfast: sausage, toast, eggs, and hash browns. Everything was excellent, although the toast was not as toasted as I expected.
Great friendly service and experience. Next time I'm in Alexandria, I would definitely stop by Perks again!

Brilliant little coffee shop that also offers up some bubble tea, we came for the full english breakfast and left with a smile and belly full of beans and bangers.

My favorite place for breakfast and brunch in Old Town Alexandria and Northern Virginia.

I ordered from Extra Perks via Grubhub the Full British Breakfast. That comes with 2 eggs, anyway you want, a pork banger, bacon, sourdough toast (2), mushrooms, and grilled tomatoes. I also added baked beans and added cheddar cheese to my eggs which I ordered scrambled.
I enjoyed the meal very much. It all worked together and was both filling and tasty. Only issue is the delivery fee does seemed a tad high and its location meant it take a bit to get to me. But still have to give it five stars.

Great local spot for good coffee, breakfast and brunch! I always try to stop in when I’m in town. It’s a special little place that may remind you of simpler times.

Low-key no-frills spot for a good breakfast. Delicious hearty portions and enormous mugs of hot coffee.

Jolly right breakfast spot. Great ambience. Reminds one of a British working class breakfast stop in the 80s. Only thing missing is layers of cigarette smoke and a couple skins in the corner.

Great food and a polite staff. Always an enjoyable experience. Great coffee, too!
So sad they're closing in 3 weeks!
