Amazingly good coffee!! Sweet, smooth, soft, barely bitter. Perfectly roasted. They had non-diary milk options and two size options. The service was amazing with friendly and serviceable staff. The owner greeted us and told us a bit about the shop. Love the story and art pieces around the shop! Plus the old house where the shop is located is beautiful inside. I wish we lived closer so we could come by more often but it'll be our new "must stop" when driving by Roanoke.

Great experience! Delicious food, and the fresh lemonade was amazing!
We stopped to eat from a long road trip, and the staff all took the time to come talk to us and give us words of encouragement to continue on our trip. One of the greatest experiences I've had eating out. Beautiful family who owns the restaurant. I definitely recommend this place.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean.

Stopped in for breakfast before hitting the road. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium just like I asked. Homemade biscuits were toasted on top and soft and moist on the inside. Without being under cooked. The sausage gravy was good and seasoned perfectly, not salt or pepper needed. Homemade pastries to boot. I had the apple crumble cake and I will for warn you it far better than anything in the grocery store. Good coffee also.

My husband & I just happened to have some extra time traveling today from Montana to Maryland to visit family & found this lovely place on our lunch detour off of 81 through Abingdon. He had black bean soup & the bologna sandwich while I tried strawberry soup (1st time) & a chicken salad croissant. We tried bites of everything and the whole meal rated 5 ➕️. Our server, Amelia was excellent and the whole staff was friendly,
the decor was perfect for the old house & the great name-we will definitely make a point to return to The Girl & The Raven on our return trip. Oh, the strawberry soup was served cold with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, basil & feta cheese-I will be in search of a comparable recipe to make on my own. Enjoy

Loved this place! Served Breakfast and Lunch. Servers are very nice and kind. Mimosas are out of this word. Highly recommend.

A little gem in the middle of Abingdon. The mussels we're perfect, would have loved more toast points to dip in the sauce... Ask when you order. The Branson Mac and cheese is to die for, very rich, but well worth the calories! Carrots are done souvay style with pine nuts. Best carrots I have had in a long time. You can not go wrong with this restaurant. Charcuterie board is a little bit over priced for what you get. Otherwise, food is absolutely fabulous.

Amazing food and atmosphere! The tapas are well-crafted with a modern southern flare. See our delicious chocolate mousse in the photo, but everything was amazing!

My wife had the turkey n cheese croissant and I had the hungry savage panini.
Both were perfect in presentation, texture and most important FLAVOR! If I were a local I would definitely look forward to trying all the menu items. GREAT JOB to everyone.

Had a nice experience at this restaurant. The owner went around and greeted everyone. My Gnocchi was excellent and Burger good ( too much sauce)

Have never been disappointed with the food, service, or the coffee from this establishment. Best cafe in Abingdon.
