Great cafe ambiance. Great service.
A bit pricey. No vegan options. I think maybe one vegetarian options... and they are only open until 230pm.

Came to Abington to escape, relax, and unwind. Starting the day well goes a long way and that is where The Girl and the Raven comes in. Finding a breakfast spot that covers healthy, sweet, and savory is fairly difficult as many places do two well but not all three. This place has you covered. Drip coffee that is sweet and complex, grits that are real and creamy, sausage that is spicy and delicious. Then there’s the biscuits… Heavy enough that they almost possess their own gravitational force AND light and flaky is a difficult thing to master. Buttery and delicious, a very solid way to start the day. Cannot recommend The Girl and the Raven highly enough.

Words can’t express how amazing this place is in Abingdon. We stopped in after a race and immediately was greeted with smiles and great hospitality. There is a great assortment of breakfast and lunch items to choose from along with coffee, wine, and l drinks. Hugh and his wife shared the story of the restaurant and engaged in great conversation. The food was superb!! Thank you to the entire staff for our fantastic experience.

Got to taste the rainbow with their rainbow salad. A great pit stop for lunch or coffee on a road trip. They have Wifi and a place to charge my phone. 10 out of 10.

Very tasty breakfast in an artsy setting by a fireplace. The avocado toast was unique and delicious with surprising smoky bbq and lime flavors. The biscuit breakfast sandwich did not disappoint.

If you visit Abington do NOT miss this place! They custom made me the beet/ginger mimosa which was awesome! The fried bologna/pimento sandwich was sooooo good... As was the chicken bacon sandwich.. they happily accommodated gluten free. Our server was a sweetheart. We will be back!!

We had a wonderful meal here as well as great coffee. Erica was an outstanding service provider very attentive yet not intrusive. Of course we had to then buy the pastries to take with us on the road and even get some ground coffee for us to have later on.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who lives here or is just passing through.

A wonderful surprise. Our dinner of tapas was delicious. The hostess, wait staff and servers were on point all evening. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. The tres leches and Hughcuccino (sp?) we’re like being gently tucked into a dream at the end of your meal.

Very charming. Wonderful staff. I loved the food. I had the Trout-salad sandwich (think up scale Tuna salad). It was fabulous, just needed a little more meat on the sandwich. Prices are a little high but I guess trout is more expensive than Tuna. All in all it was great.
