These prices make me laugh! 12 dollars for a grilled cheese 🤣 you do realize it's not rocket science to make right? I can make a delicious one for like 2 bucks! 15 dollars for a burger! No thanks lol even other restaurant chains in the area don't charge this much

Delicious food on a beautiful day in Abington. The tomato bisque was absolutely amazing. Yes. Seriously. The Girl and the Raven is a wonderful place to eat with very kind and friendly people, from the waitstaff to owner. Check out the artwork inside. Definitely a place to visit again. Thank you.

Absolutely best place to eat and get coffee, tea, chai (so yumo), etc!! They are open for breakfast and lunch only, so bear that in mind when you go check The Girl and The Raven for yourself. We live in Las Vegas and were visiting the Tri-cities in TN, staying in Bristol, VA. Abingdon is not far from the Tri cities at all. We went two different days!! We loved the food/beverages, pastries, the employees, the ambience of the restaurant that much! The tomato bisque...oh my goodness....the very best I have ever had!! The food is so fresh and I believe locally sourced. This is a must go to restaurant! I so wish they were in Vegas as we probably would be there every day! I just ordered their 5lb coffee online as my husband loved the "Dark Side" that much! Just go and see for yourself!

We visited The Girl & The Raven this morning. My wife and I both had the Ol Faithful breakfast and it was all very delicious. The service and atmosphere are excellent.

Quaint and cozy, this was a great experience. Loved my latte and the crackling fire on a rainy day.

Eh. Big hype not a lot of substance. Waited 25 minutes to be seated when a couple who were friends with the bartender just walked right in and sat down. The bartender smiled shrugged at us when we asked why they were allowed to do so when the entire waiting area was full of people. We went to sit at the bar too but a bearded gentlemen in a hat said the seats were saved. A minute later a waitress asked if we wanted to wait longer or sit at the bar. We said we'd take the bar. It took 10 minutes for someone to take our order while we watched them laugh with and serve their friends. We then waited 30 minutes for food to arrive. The couple that skipped the line got served drinks and food and finished before we even got our food.
Food and drinks were good but nothing special and over priced.
Thanks for the reply. I keep my reviews honest. I save the stars for places that earn them. It wasn't a 90 year old lady and a companion. It was a couple in their late 40s-50s. The lady had pink hair and and the guy was possibly European? We weren't sour until the 30 minute mark waiting for our food to arrive.
Just trying to let you know how someone from the outside feels coming in to your place.

First time I've ever been here, and I will definitely be back. Came with a bunch of work gals, and it included pitchers of mimosas. Yes, please! I had one of your blueberry muffins. It's probably the best one I've ever had.

Great soup and sandwich! Sat at the community table in the coffee shop area and was able to meet the very cordial owner- Hugh! Very nice find.

Really lovely drinks and coffee in a beautiful space with outstanding art. If I lived here, this would be my work spot! I'll definitely stop again on my way through.

The coffee and food were very good, the turkey melt and cappuccino got high reviews from the company I was with. The owner was also friendly and spent a few minutes talking with us. Good atmosphere and obviously popular.
