Ridiculously good, the best breakfast I've had in recent memory. Every detail is neat - the bacon actually smoked, the peppercorn actually fresh, and the egg perfectly done. The biscuit was insane.
On top of that, the outstanding and attentive service, family friendly, and chic venue aesthetic. Coffee roasted next door. A+!

One of the best meals I've ever had. This place would be a stand out even in a big city. Perfectly balanced flavors, the freshest ingredients and the owners/staff are a delight. A must!!

Fantastic stop for breakfast and coffee on my way out of town on business. Will definitely be returning to town for a longer stay and coming here again! The food was delicious, lots of great seating options indoors and out, and the owner is the nicest guy in the world! Tried the biscuit egg and cheese sandwich, which was so fluffy I could barely bite it all! The golden latte was wonderfully spiced and rich. Looking forward to trying more of their soups, sandwiches, and pastries when I return, as well as a regular latte to more fully appreciate their house roasting!

It was okay, nothing too special. Decent coffee but a bit overpriced on the food. Service was only okay, sat at the bar and the bar tender never once asked us if we wanted a drink let alone smiled or acknowledged us. Had the grilled cheese, it was okay not really worth the price. My friend got the chicken biscuit it was pretty dry. 3 stars because the guy running the gift shop upstairs was awesome!

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I'm a bit of a foodie, and I love coffee, so I was intrigued with the Magic, an espresso drink similar to a Flat White, but less diluted. That, paired with an exceptional rendition of Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, made my day! Very inviting space, very nice people.

Great coffee shop in an old house. The side rooms seem a little bare but nicely decorated. The main area is great - display cases full of wonderful pastries! All of the food was wonderful. We had full breakfasts and brought pastries home for later.

Here on vacation. Drove past and on a whim decided to pull in for coffee. Ended up ordering some plates to share. Everything tasted like it was prepared with such care and purpose. The staff was so pleasant and welcoming!

I use this Cafe all the time, and for good reason. Thier people are wonderful, the atmosphere so easy and clear, and they have amazing matcha. Also, if you haven't tried their sorghum cookies, do. They are GF and AMAZING, every. Single. Time.

Stopped by while traveling through Virginia - great coffee spot, and their soup and sandwich specials were delicious! Grabbed two pastries to go for dessert - a strawberry tea cake and a strawberry lemon muffin, bright and tasty even though the drive was cloudy! Will stop by on our way back through for a pick-me-up!

Stumbled on this place a couple of weeks ago, on the first day of their soft opening, and fell in love.
It's a lovely, light-filled space in an old Victorian house, full of artwork and beautiful plants. We had great coffee and fresh, healthy breakfasts, and picked up a couple of delicious cookies for the road. Service was friendly and efficient. The dishes we had (avocado toast, and grits with melted leeks and ham) were comforting and filling, without being heavy or greasy.
Highly recommend!
