Do not miss this place. Stone ground purple corn grits, fluffy biscuits, real sausage. Fast and kind service. Clean bathrooms. Real art.

Although we opted to dine outdoors because it was a warm sunny day, there was lots of space and seating options indoors. I noticed that each table had their own pitcher of water which I thought was a good idea to prevent the spread of virus. The staff was so nice and accomodating! I had the Hungry Savage and it was amazing. Loved the tender, off the bone chicken used for this sandwich. The Hibiscus Iced Tea was perfect for me because of the unique flavor and the fact that it was nonsweetened. I also tried the pressed Pulp Fiction...totally Awesome! I am going to try their drive through soon!

First visit here just for a coffee to go. The service was great and I loved the coffee. Can't wait to return with family and try some of the food.

Loved the lattes! We tried the golden, matcha, and beet. Delicious juices. Great coffee. Yummy breakfast! Sweet, sweet owners! Support local! We will be back! God bless!

This is a wonderful place to eat for a late morning breakfast. Food is fresh, well-prepared, and they have a very welcoming staff. Great selection of coffee drinks as well. Worth the drive to Abingdon to check it out.

Love brunch here! Great drinks and coffee. Love the atmosphere and sitting on the porch!

Had a great breakfast, nice people, great atmosphere. Don’t think I’ve ever had grits quite this good.
Highly recommended.

This was a chance encounter, but love at first bite. Our family needed a road trip pit stop, and The Girl & The Raven appeared at just the right time. We didn't expect to try half the menu. I was blown away by the biscuits — WOW! — house-roasted coffee, and cinnamon rolls. And our two young boys loved their first hand-pressed lemonade experience. We were greeted by one of the owners on the way in and really enjoyed hearing about some of the history of the place and the scratch made food. We didn't mean to end up here on this visit, but we will definitely make the long drive to come again.

A friend of mine suggested this place so I stopped in for breakfast and coffee. This place is wonderful. Extremely clean and wonderful staff. If you are around the area stop in give it a try.

We stopped on our way to Upstate NY and were blown away on how good the breakfast and coffees were. The ambience of the house and the staff are so welcoming. What a great place, I would highly recommend the Girl and Raven to anyone. I had the Bluegrass Biscuit, cheesy grits, and flat white drink. Many thanks and we look forward to stopping back by on our return trip.
