The food isn’t as good since changing owners. Paid way too much for marginal food

The almond croissant was so good I went back an hour later and got another one. I would eat these every single day if I could.

Very good food. Exciting to find an excellent French cafe in S. Utah. Not cheap though.

Breakfast options were kind of limited, and line out the door. If you need to be somewhere, be prepared to try another day if they're open. Took around 30 minutes to get just bakery items. Our group did enjoy what they ordered, but we ended up getting other food for those that couldn't find something.

This place reminded me of some the bakeries around St-Michael - St Germain area of Paris. The pastries are perfectly sweet (not too sweet) and more importantly layered and flaked which is hallmark of french technique. Simply enjoy them with cappuccino or espresso. We enjoyed this place so much that we are seriously considering moving to Kanab post retirement :D .

Expected the pastries to be warm. they were cold.

From your passive aggressive response it seems you have more issues than cold pastries... maybe you need to travel a bit more to understand the customer shouldn't have to ask for you to warm them up.

The staff weren't really friendly and seemed bored. When asked if the bread could also be sliced, we got an unfriendly answer. We didn't really feel like guests and welcome. Bought bread (cranberry walnut) was average but ok.

Holy cow this place is good. We had a cherrie strudel and a quiche. The quiche is the only gluten free item on the menu. They make everything in house. This place is a must try if you are here in Kanab or passing through. Unfortunately they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. But Wednesday through Sunday come get the delicious. They have an assortment of strudels, croissants and pastries. They have some pizza that’s very different we did not try but it looks amazing. No disappointments here

Hours are incorrect, online. When we did go the staff were awesome. Very courteous and the place is a great spot to sit.

The croissant and apple turnover we got weren’t great, though. While they were beautiful to see, the croissant was more like a dry cracker outside and biscuit center… and the apple turnover wasn’t cooked through (The dough stretched). Given the reviews this may have been an off day…so we’ll be returning to give it another go before we head out.

If you travel through Kanab, But and manage to be lucky enough to hit their 7am-2pm hours you are in for a special treat. This is the first time in the 4yrs since they opened that I stopped. I had no idea what a treasure I'd missed all these years. Don't miss this place! The struddle was off the charts and my espresso was perfect.
