Rocking V Cafe

We found this place by chance on Google maps. Absolutely loved it!! Everyone is so nice. Waitress are the best. Owner was very welcoming. The place was crowded and they gave us a table anyways. During the short wait, owner made sure to let us know it wouldn’t be long and that we were comfortable.
Food and beer were delicious!

We went to this cafe at 730 pm and had to wait for 40 minutes. We tried the salad, soup, adobe chicken, curry, and steak. The steak was ok. The salad and the curry were fine. However, the adobe chicken was great, the meat was very tender and juicy. I also enjoyed the potato side, which was mixed with cheese. It was very busy even at 9 pm so the waitress was not very attentive. Overall a nice cafe worth visiting in this town.

Ate dinner here last night & it was yummy! Service was great. I had the Mac n cheese with bread crumbs & bacon.. my husband had the bison tenderloin. For dessert we shared peach cobbler. Would definitely eat here again!

This was the best meal I've had in quite a while! The Power Canyon Salad was great with a tasty mix of fruit, nuts and greens topped with a lemon-thyme vinaigrette. The Bison Tenderloin was excellent and well worth the price - you can almost cut with a fork. And the peach cobbler was an awesome ending to this outstanding meal. Very highly recommended!

Great food and friendly service. The food came out pretty quick especially because we came on a busy weekend lunch rush. Portion sizes are great for the price as well. We did find the paper cheese separator in one of our meals though. We’ll likely come back the next time we’re in the region or passing through.

The planet burger with mashed potatoes was really good. We also had the vegetarian enchiladas. Both were a taste explosion and a celebration for our taste buds. It's definitely on my places to stop at next time we are in the area. Now for dessert! Key lime pie and peach cobbler!!! Yum!!!

Both my husband and I ordered a Ribeye. They were so good, arguably the best steaks we've ever had. We ordered them medium-rare on the rare side and they came out medium but that didn't even matter. They were fabulous. I'm not sure what they do but the steaks were out of this world.

Delicious lunch and dessert!
Kanab-a-dab-a-doo burger (tasty bun that was pretty) and fresh greens. My friend got the sour cream & garlic mashed potatoes. Those were yummy too. Her hubby got the Banzai burger, he liked the flavors of the chicken & pork on that. His side was the green chile rice. We ended our meal with the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. (They expect to have their homemade pies back next week.)
Delia was sweet and they all took great care of us.

Stopped in for an unscheduled dinner here with my husband and the place was packed. We were able to get seats without reservations, but I'd highly recommend you make them. The food was amazing, the ambience was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I wish there was a restaurant like this closer to home. It would be my #1 spot to dine. I highly recommend trying out the Rocking V Cafe if you're in, around, or driving through Kanab.
