Rocking V Cafe

This place is just WOW! We were looking for a restaurant after coming back from North Rim and this place was highly rated.. and we were not disappointed!
We took the Ribeye steak, the bison lower rib and the “seafood Louie”. The steak was medium and was excellent! The bison meat was also wow, the quality is perfect! Photos with all the dishes below.
Overall including drinks and tip it will go around 35-50$/person. I also attached the full menu from today, 1st November 2019.
The interior design is quite classic but with a custom touch. The owner has his art on the walls. The servers are super nice & helpful.
Overall a place not to be missed if you’re in the area. A+!

Stopped in Kanab on the way to rock climb up north. Wonderful little place, very friendly. We always try clam chowder wherever we go, it had a great depth of flavor! The salmon was also a big winner, loved how the risotto had a crisp to it. Adobe Chicken tasted like a Southwestern Chicken Tortilla soup we make at home but much more depth to the flavor, we need to steal their secrets! Highly recommend the Rocking V Cafe. The Provo Girl Pilsner was also a winner!

This is a MUST experience in charming Kanab. I mean Bison Fillet Mignon?! Unreal menu, ambiance and plan to take your time to enjoy. This is part of the "slow food" movement from Italy (not joking) so if you are in a rush...go to Subway lol

I appreciated that they only did take out for lunch and masks are encouraged (saw two people not wearing them despite the requirement). The owner is extremely friendly and personable, and the menu is fun with their verbiage.

I was disappointed however with what I received. Salad tasted like it came out of a store bought bag and was basically lettuce with two blobs of tofu.

Ate here our first night in Kanab. The food is amazing, get the Brussel sprouts. Great wine selection by the glass or bottle. Our server Melanie was outgoing and friendly.

The atmosphere was fun - read the history from Kanab City's historical walking tour! - and the food was okay. The sedvice was good, nothing over the top, but kind and pretty quick. We had a variety of items. The mac'n'cheese was decent, the adobe pasta was mediocre, the shrimp pasta was okay, the burger was delicious and the vegetable enchilada was great!

Great cafe with amazing food and friendly service. I had the burger, which was very unique—tasty and super filling. They have a large variety of sides to choose from, I had the potato salad and didn’t love it, I kept stealing some of my friend’s side to make up for it. Space inside is cute and quirky and the art gallery upstairs is nice to walk through while waiting for your food. We grabbed some dessert to go (cheesecake) and enjoyed it in our campsite later that evening. All in all an amazing place to stop if passing through Kanab!

Incredible personal attention. You're literally spoiled while enjoying a menu as imaginative as the creations it proffers are delectable. All that and a truly charming period Southwest ambiance, featuring various works of art in the same idiom.

The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere felt safe and distanced. The pasta was amazing and nice and spicy. Had to dock a star since the mac and cheese was cold, was delicious just needed to be hotter.

The food was seriously to die for!!! We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there was about a 45 minute wait. We went upstairs to the gallery and viewed the art and sat down inside while we waited. Eventually we were seated in the gallery at a window with a gorgeous view. They have a great beer and liquor menu. However, I really wish they would have had a cocktail menu, especially with all of the different Utah liquors that they offer. Overall the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food, like I said was AMAZING. I ordered the Apollo Chicken.
