Absolutely loved this place. Great spot for picking up food after hiking with some awesome healthy options. Dare I say it, they even have fantastic biodegradable to-go containers that I haven't seen before. Very well thought out place with such good food. The grilled cheeses were delicious and had such a great fusion of flavors (we got the jalapeno one and the one with rosemary. So yummy). The tomato basil soup was fantastic with such a full flavor. The salads were also remarkable and the dressing wasn't overpowering. The cookie and ice cream dessert was remarkable and a better version of a pizooki. The cookie was so fluffy and the ice cream was decadent. Their caramel and chocolate sauce was home made and so flavorful as well. Definitely deserves 5 stars and all my business whenever I come through town again. Service was phenomenal and very friendly as well. Such a great place!

This is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth. Picked up some ice cream and cookies when we arrived in town and they were really good. The ice cream was so smooth and creamy and not overly sweet. The cookies were soft baked and buttery. A must try while in town.

Absolutely delightful! First of all, everything they have on the menu is homemade and made fresh. You just don't get that type of quality anywhere else anymore! Got the Gourmet Sandwich and Tomato Soup combo and it was delicious!! Best grilled cheese I've ever had! The cookie that came with it (Scotchie was my choice) was fresh made and yummy. Finishing the last bite made me crave more. So I took a few bites from my parents' peanut butter cookie that was just as good! And despite still wanting more we had to pause ourselves with the cookies cause we also got the orange roll which was amazing! The staff are so friendly and fast! The ambience and atmosphere were also great. It felt like everyone was just hanging out at a party and was so fun! I also love that the inside sponsored some products from Utah creators and vendors in a small business team effort! Their ice cream was also delightful! Light, creamy, and flavorful! It wasn't the kind of ice cream that is too heavy and leaves you needing to drink a gallon of water after eating it. How do you even hit that perfect of a combination?!?
And while the portions are really quite modest, after trying everything they had to offer, I was stuffed and satisfied!

I will be coming back every time I come through Kanab! Writing this review already makes me want to take another trip there just to go to Brown Box (I'm gonna buy a couple pints of ice cream next time and take it home!).

Now, if you've made it this far in my review, you might be thinking I'm exaggerating with all I've written, but I really did love it just that much! So don't doubt me too quickly! Just give it a try and find out the magic for yourself! 😉

This is such a fun & yummy place! They’re so friendly. The decor is fun & the food was perfect! The menu was very simple: grilled cheese, soups, salads, desserts. We tried the classic grilled cheese, tomato basil soup & the savory salad. Everything was perfect! We definitely want to go back for ice cream!

Awesome place to come get some delicious ice cream! Super friendly and family run, they will make sure you're taken care of and full of some sweet treats! FYI, there is some parking in the back if you're not able to get one of the street spots.

Hands down my favorite places to eat in Kanab! They have amazing salads and grilled cheese! And wow such yummy amazing desserts! Don't take my word for it and simply go try it out yourself 😎

Lovely food and staff. You can tell that the place is starting out (I only saw it as some folks were eating ice cream outside). Anyways, food will leave you really happy - they had a great tomato soup and grilled cheese toasts. Friendly staff makes sure you are happy with your choice, place is clean and creates a home cooked atmosphere.
Definitely recommend for a great lunch!

✨Friendly service and delicious cast iron cookie (kanookie). I had the scotchie with vanilla ice cream and their amazing caramel sauce. They have a cute little patio outside if you have a dog, which made it super convenient for us. New favorite spot to stop at while in Kanab.🍪🍨

Love these fresh homemade treats!! Even the ice-cream is made fresh, right here! Everything we tried was delicious. The owner was helping customers, herself.
