Just stopped there for a quick breakfast before heading to our adventure … the pain au chocolat is excellent almost like the one I use to eat in Alsace France , the ham and cheese croissant and the pithiviers were exquisite
Merci

It was honestly the worst chocolate croissant I’ve ever had. I’m not sure why I had to pay so much for that doughy mess. It had twice the amount of dough and probably half the butter it needed.

I’m giving this place three stars because service was good and my friend enjoyed the quiche.

Most of the negative reviews are in the ballpark. This establishment, while nice and quaint, is very expensive considering the quantity/quality of the product or lack thereof. I found the food to be rather bland and lacking flavor or substance. Overall, options are limited in Kanab. It will hold you over, but your pocket book will suffer.

Sweet Pea

Gluten Free Pancakes for my husband. I had the quiche Lorraine which was very good. They were very friendly and made suggestions on their popular selections.

The coffee was good but we arrived near closing time and most baked goods were gone. Still, a nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable. They also sell locally made pottery, honey, and jams. Well worth a visit if you are in Kanab.

OK, we have been here 1-2 times a year for the last 4 years. Really kind staff and honestly the very best breakfast to be found in Kanab, while passing through. We have waited in line, chatted with the locals and generally just enjoyed our time here. Thank you!

Great coffee, believe it or not pastries and bread was hit or miss. (oven temp. on the high side, crusts were good inside not so much)

We really enjoyed this little cafe and bakery! The food was really good and came in generous portions. The deserts and the fruit crepe were excellent! They serve breakfast until 2 and wrap up and close for the day by 3. But if you are looking for a great breakfast, sandwich or crepe experience with plenty to eat, this is a great place to come!

Absolutely Delicious!!! This french bakery is so good!! We went around 8 to get breakfast we were almost 5th in line. By the time we reached the counter they were even out of a couple of things! The wait line was longer when we left the bakery. We got Croque Madame, Hummus and Roasted Veggies Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito, cappuccino, Croissant 🥐 and belgian chocolate chip cookie 🍪. The Croque Madame and Hummus Sandwich were just smashing!!! Absolutely loved it. The croissant was so buttery and flaky just how it should be. Coffee great as well!! The staff was not wearing masks as Utah has just ended it's mask mandate. The chocolate chip cookie and Breakfast Burrito was okay. But if I am back in the area I would definitely visit again.

Visited 4/22 @ 10:15 am. So the rating for the food is closer to 4.5 but I should've paid better attention to previous reviews about service. From the cashier to the food runners/owners? The whole vibe was unpleasant, as if they genuinely did not enjoy or know who was supposed to be doing what. It's a classic case of a break down in communication and lack of a cohesive system. We could even hear them yelling back and forth to one another to try to figure out if they were going to use numbers or names for people's orders. We didn't receive our cup for coffee or pastry while at the register so we had to ask for both. I actually didn't get my pastry till the end of our meal, even after I asked the food runners to grab it for me. There was a kind, interactive man running around seemingly trying to keep up spirits but overall, it felt frantic and frustrated. If that bothers you or if you're in a hurry, then don't bother. If that doesn't stress you out and you just want delicious food, then just ignore it. My Croque Madame ($8) and Belgian Mocha ($4.5) were incredible and fairly priced. My husband's Old World Kitchen Sink was good but priced too high at $13. This could have been an off day and likely could have been due to register/Square issues so I think the food still deserves a try.
