In all honesty, the food was good.... The ambiance was nice, but the service was questionable. Even tho the establishment was not crowded, there were long delays with our waiter. After reading the reviews, I can understand other's feelings and the rating on the service. Overall I'm comfortable with giving The Roof a 4 star. I would suggest that they tighten up on the response time to their customers. Other than that, I'm willing on visiting again. I enjoyed the music, I enjoyed the food and I enjoyed the view. This is a beautiful restaurant that truly needs to live up to it's full potential.

I must say this place was AMAZING! My husband and I attended a birthday party here a few years ago, and I can’t say I would have given the same review. My girls and I decided we wanted to have brunch somewhere nice, jazzy, and classy 😉. From the time we entered we received excellent service from the hostess (we were seated right away), waitress (food came out within 10/15 mins after ordering and she checked on us often) and most of all the bartender (amazing mixologist). My husband and I will definitely visit here again! 🤗

Weird that we barely got in because we did not have a reservation, but this Friday that place was half empty. So noted to have a reservation. DJ was on point. Food was decent, but maybe not worth the cost. More of a date night spot.

I had a few problems with reservations and the person that took the reservation but, this was worked out on the morning of the reservation before arrival...my first time at this establishment and to say the least, I was amazed at the atmosphere...upon arrival I and my party were greeted graciously and escorted to our table and introduced to our waitress of the evening...the guest of the evening was very late but, we worked everything out so everyone was served at the same time and not have the staff waiting around endlessly on our group. The food arrived in a timely fashion giving a very beautiful presentation...not only was the presentation beautiful but, the food was hmmm good...the atmosphere was very relaxing and luxuriously comfortable...we were there celebrating a Birthday for Sunday Brunch and had the Lamb Chops with Lobster Tail, asparagus, scrambled eggs, mash potatoes and a side of Blackened Shrimp...Shrimp and Grits with a Crab Ball in the middle side of eggs, bacon and shared French Toast, Fish and Grits, Chicken and French Toast...these photos will tell it all...we will be back to try out the Dinner Menu...

I went to the bar and ordered a Maker's neat and a Maker's on the rocks. The bartender(Cece) poured them up. The people I was with decided to go to Gridiron, so I closed out my tab, and then she said $32. I thought it was kinda high, but whatever, it was my friends birthday. I was in a great mood, and Cece was not, so I rounded my tab up to $40. Then, when I looked at my bill under the light, I saw that a 20% gratuity was already included. I always tip, but what I can't stand is to be told what to tip. Had I taken the time to see that gratuity, that's all you would've received. So enjoy the $13 and change pitty tip on the $26 and change tab. None of us (group of 16) will ever be back.

Compared to my first visit in March to this visit last Friday, my experience was totally different.... the first visit was amazing which is why I returned. There was live music by a talented woman playing saxophone 🎷 the food was delicious 😋 but not this visit..... 🤬🤬 the food was horrible..... I ordered calamari which was ok kinda hard, the Land and Sea plate $57 and The mash potatoes tasted like it was out a box with no gravy and it was tasteless. The lobster tail was cool but no seasonings smh and omg the dirty rice was disgusting cold and gummy the drinks were very nasty 😤 and the fish of the day plate according to my date was a failure also. After spending $169 on two meals I expect perfection.... this was enough for me to never return. Straight bs. I would've returned the food but I know what they do to people food who complain so I paid and left I know not to expect perfection once I've had it so once I do I will never visit again out of fear it won't always be the same!!!!!

First time here and my first impression is giving them the benefit of doubt, here’s why. We had a party of about 16. The waiter was okay , but I believe he could have been better if he wasn’t working the front, the back and everywhere else. My wife ordered a steak well done, which came out raw. The music atmosphere was a 16 song playlist that kept playing over and over again. The stuffed chicken wings were excellent with great seasoning. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt for the simple fact that they may have been under staff or some lazy workers because our waiter did the best he could working the back and front of the restaurant. The atmosphere seems cool with the rooftop experience and all but tonight they wasn’t ready for a party of 16. Sad part is our gratuity tickets added up to about 150.00 with about 2.00 worth of service due to staff problems I believe. Willing to give them one more chance with just my wife and I presence just to see what they really have to offer, but so far I wouldn’t recommend a huge party of people to celebrate an event. They are going to have to get better with this.

To start the ambiance is absolutely beautiful and the scenery by the lake is a nice touch… I brought a friend here for his birthday and it was a really nice touch. I order a round of sidecars to start off …. They were really good shoutout to CeeCee the bartender(her picture skills and cocktail skills are bomb thank you girl) …… we got our seat when he arrived and he ordered the spinach dip which was just ok hints the one start away from five ….. It definitely could’ve used some flavor hr ordered the lamp chops which he said were very good and we ended with the cocktail with tequila and champagne it was delicious…… I waitress was fantastic and the live Music was a plus that man played his heart out and everybody enjoyed it ….. Don’t forget to take some pictures on the patio

Nice setup, but they need to do better, Hostess sitting people basically on top of each other, server was really not that attentive we had to ask for drinks or refill several times was never offered, and they moved part of our party to another table that was a little further apart. It was my first time going but I honestly don't plan to go again and did I mention I had to cancel my salad because they didn't have vinaigrette dressing.. the chef should have known how to make a vinaigrette dressing..
