Such a nice view of the creek if you’re sitting by the windows. Plenty of seating area and handful of tables to choose from. It gives that local coffee shop feel. I miss places like these when I used to live in San Antonio. Now that there’s one down the street instead of driving to Houston, I’m back in my element. One thing I noticed from coming here a few times is that the owner is always busy, but does everything. From greeting you to taking your order and bringing it personally to you. Handling phone calls, cleaning & sanitizing tables, etc. I’m not sure if he’s looking for help, but it’s always nice to see business is doing good every time I visit. Doing it alone at that, too! We need more places like these. Building community. I hope one day Stafford can do the same instead of building new eateries at The Grid.

I wanted to love the homeyness, but there were too many little misses that added up throughout my experience.

I was the first person to order a drip coffee, so she made it fresh for me. Score. Except it was some kind of hazelnut blend, and I had no clue until I stuck my beak in the cup. It was an unpleasant surprise.

The music was surprisingly loud for a coffee shop, and the play list was pretty distracting. There was also some construction next door that has nothing to do with this place, but ceaseless rhythmic pounding made it tough to concentrate on my work.

The bayou view was a perk, and overall all of these things are small. Service was kind and welcoming. I’d try it again.

Vibe- The vibes are very homey, this is the idea spot to come to if you need to get some studying done or even to get some work done. There’s are sooooo many seating spots inside (there’s a bar across one wall and a lot of square shaped and circular tables with 2-4 chairs at each) and even a few outside.

Customer service- Great! The man that helped me was very kind.

Food/drinks- I got a hot large vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was delicious.

Parking- It’s in a shopping center where there are parking spots right in front of the building.

Quiet place for a morning coffee routine. Love the creek behind. Coffee tastes good, no bitterness after taste. Will come visit more often.

I didn't have high hopes for this place bc the first thing I saw was a dented, colorless Jamaican beef patty in the display case, called an Embedo Patty. I ordered one anyway bc they're my favorite and a bad beef patty is better than no beef patty. When I got it, the crust was golden and flaky and the meat was spicy and great. The espresso shot was fantastic. The Embedo latte was good. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking. The bathrooms and everything else was clean. Ample seating, including a table outside in front. Great view in the back of the bayou through a giant window. The owner was knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. 100% recommend. 100% will return, especially since it's the closest place I can get a beef patty.

Owner is a super great guy. Definitely see some potential in this place. View of the water makes it an easy place to WANT TO BE. Only thing I would say is a tad bit lad compared to most cafes.

Other than that, it’s one of my favorite spots

I was in Sugarland for an appointment, search for coffee shops in the area and this is a hidden gem. I got a vanilla latte and banana nut muffin which were delightful. The gentleman working has the best customer service. I wasnt sure I'd dine in but I'm glad I did. This is the perfect remote work spot. I love the music, it's not too loud to have a conversation, the view of the sugar creek is my fav part. Last but not least I appreciate the fact that it's not freezing cold in here. I worked here for 4 hours.

Very nice environment with a perfect view of the river. Great place to study! I got a hot caramel latte to start off my morning and settled down in the back. Later in the evening, I got a caramel Frappuccino and an apple turnover. All the items were delicious! The employee heated up my apple turnover, and it was one of the best apple turnovers I've had. There was music playing (Abba, Michael Jackson) and it made the vibe better in my opinion, but the employee asked me if the music bothered me or if I'd like it turned down, so that was nice. There is also free wifi and various outlets available if you need to charge anything. In the morning, the seats against the window, by the river can get kinda hot, so I put my backpack against the window to prevent my laptop from heating up so much. It was not a big issue for me, but just a heads up in case you plan to sit by the window near the river!

Cute little coffee place in the sugar creek. Nice place to take a breather from traffic and grab a nice coffee. I’m definitely coming back!

Very nice and cozy place with a great view in the back with ducks in a lake! I ordered the Embedo Strong and it has an amazing hazelnut aroma, great as my regular order now! Great place to relax, study etc. And not a lot of people so it's quite the hidden treasure! So will definitely try to introduce this place to more people!
